This is my first post on this forum, I'm reading some of your posts for some time now and I decided to start posting and sharing and discussing SEO, UX, and Business Strategy with you guys.
Before I start telling my history, sorry if I misspell something, English is not my main language and I still don't have the financial freedom that I want, I just start this year to make it as a business with my friend, before that we used this as a Hobby and a freeware for the Users.
So, everything started in 2019, I was 21 years old and pretty mad with myself at that time, I studied at 2 universities at the same time because at that time I think this was the way to become rich (I still don't know why I thought like that all my life until that year), but I was very pissed off with my routine on that time.
So I and my friend started discussing it and how we could achieve financial freedom, I meet my friend when we both were 11 years old, my friend started gaining money on the internet at 14 years old, at that time he used to make 30k reals per month (on that time, that was probably... 7k USD, no idea now) with game servers, because some complications on his life and depression, he stopped working with internet when he was 19 years old, so we started discussing how to launch a product online just to test our ideas and our SEO knowledge because he was an early entrepreneur and I basically was a library rat, we knew a lot of theory of how to launch a digital product and want to test how good we were at that time.
So we launched a SaaS product as freeware (I won't talk much about what the product is, but I will talk more about its SEO and business related), at the beginning we didn't pay much attention to it since we both had more things to do and make it a hobby, I also had severe depression on that time until 2021, so we never make this as a business until this year.
Basically, even if this business that we are in right now is competitive, we actually make a really good job and after a year we got our first million users... In 2020 we start getting 1 million users every 6 months and this year we make 1 million users every month.
So I talked a lot and I didn't say much of what I did, to be frank, this was pretty much a keyword, good content (a SaaS that the people need), and a website that is fast and has a good User Experience (Oh, I forgot to tell, I work as User Experience Designer, I really love working with this and I hope one day sharing more about my knowledge on this because I really think every entrepreneur that works for internet should know about UX and how to apply UX Strategies on their business). About Keywords, this is basically what I did at that time:

About Keywords, this is basically what I did at that time:
- Domain Name: If you didn't choose the name for your company yet, I would really recommend you find a good domain first, I know that this is not the most important factor, but if you are a financial coach for example and you can buy the domain financial.coach, you will definitely have an advantage with SEO.
- Keywords: What I see a lot of people doing is finding good keywords that would rank good but with A LOT of competition, for example, you can't compete against CNN with the keyword "news today", this would be very hard for you to achieve, so you basically have to change for a different keyword like "news about finance today" or something like that and just after you start ranking that you change that for a more competitive word, I normally used to change or add new the keywords every 3 ~ 4 months, a good strategy here is focused on LSI and synonyms until you are big enough.
- Page Speed: ALWAYS focus on speed on your page, this is basic for every kind of business, if your website is slow, your user will leave it, so focus on speed.
- Content as a Blog: DON'T MAKE BLOG JUST FOR DOING, If you think like "Oh, a Blog is good for SEO, I just have to put some random keywords and content there and that is it", if the User doesn't like your content, they will leave your website and Google hates that, if you want to create a Blog for your website, make good content, doesn't matter how much time you post on it or how much posts, just make good content and this is like an asset for your website.
Well, I'm not a specialist in SEO, to be frank, I work way better with UX, but I would love to hear your opinion about what I did right and wrong during this time, and also would love to share more knowledge and learn with all of you.
