Now now, we all know the typical exotic car business.
Buy an exotic -> Rent it out a few times a month -> Make profit so it's like you have an exotic for free
However, I was curious on a different route in the business...
About 4 years ago, I saw my first ever exotic car going down the highway. I grew up in a small town, so anything besides a tractor and rusty pick up was out of the norm. The car was plastered with an advertisement, and to this day I still remember the advertisement; 4 years later.
I'm curious if a business would be willing to pay to have an exotic car wrapped up in their logo/phone number/company/etc. I know that many businesses do this, but the ol' van isn't a head turner and doesn't get people looking. An exotic car turns heads, it's an attention grabber, conversation starter.
I currently live close to a largely populated city, and if you drive around during rush hour, I imagine quite a bit of people would look at the car if I were to drive it around for an hour or 2 a day.
Would a business pay a few hundred a day to have me (or an experienced, clean record driver; save on insurance) drive an exotic car wrapped in their logo through downtown area, rush hour, highway, etc. a couple hours a day?
This is obvious very, very ambiguous; not even sure if this has been done before or if it's extremely popular.
SIDE NOTE: When it's not wrapped, I can take the typical route of renting the vehicle out.
