Hey yall,
I am new to the millionaire fastlane forum, and as I was reading the great rat race escape , I came up with a business idea that I am currently working on. The idea is an app that utilizes AI to suggest home cooked meals and recipes from ingredients users scan in their fridge or pantry. I was planning on using computer vision, NLP, and other AI tools to make this work. The ideal user for this app would be people who have ingredients at home but lack the creativity or the time to think of and make something that they or others would like. So rather than ordering food out, users would not only save money but also produce less waste from unused ingredients. Furthermore, my app would also take into account allergies, dietary preferences, weight goals e.t.c, and all the meal suggestions generated by the AI would reflect these settings.
Two days ago, my older brother, who is a Software Engineer, currently working at a robotics company, proposed a new SaaS business idea, which was a Robotics Simulatar SaaS. He remarked that the current robotic simulator softwares in the marketplace are all too complex and a hastle to use due to poor onboarding, delivery, and software structure. He came up with this business idea because he uses one of these overly complicated softwares at this job everyday. Other than that, I don't know any of the logistics behind this business model.
Right now, I just need help choosing which path I should follow, should I proceed developing the app and launching it? or should I drop the app idea and do the SaaS business with my brother?
Any advice is welcome!
