Currently in highschool and haven't learned a thing in the last 2-3 years of school, except for math. I originally wanted to get a computer science degree, which could lead to the fast lane as I could use programming for business but I'd prefer not to. I'm stuck in between wanting to start a business, and constantly needing to keep up with assignments, everyone telling me I need to get good grades, go to a good university, get a job. But of course none of them are happy with their work life. Average salary, and if it is a high salary it's 9-5 and they waste so much time. I'm also constantly being tempted by friends to play video games and the whole time I play video games I'm just thinking of how I could be researching business and getting started with one.
If I focus on school I'm subscribing to the slowlane with some time for fastlane. If I focus on business and I keep failing I might end up jobless.
My biggest worry is the risk of the fastlane, and yes I know the book says its just as risky as the slowlane, but barely having an income with the chance of being unable to support my future family scares me.
Should I focus on getting great grades and business or just one? Business is quite unknown to me right now, but I'll be starting SMMA soon after exams are over to try to learn and also hopefully make money.
