Hi guys.
In the last few weeks, after I watched a video on YouTube and I talked with a friend, I started to get interested about consulting firms.
My goal is still to start my own fastlane business and to impact the life of million people; but I started to think that entering a MBB consulting firm for a couple years would be a great way to make experience and to meet a lot of people, which would both be useful for my entrepreneurial journey. Doing that, I would have the opportunity to work for very different kinds of businesses in different industries and in different countries, it might also be a great way to find a problem I could solve with my business.
I'm currently studying for a bachelor's degree; to enter one of those firms I would have to continue with an expensive master's degree in a top university in Europe after I graduate.
All of this sounds reasonable to me but, thinking more about it, it sounds a lot like slowlane (even if it wouldn't be a definitive job, but I'd do it to gain experience and to save money for my future business). Of course, I would also try to start my own business in my free time while studying, I wouldn't just stay on books in the next years.
Am I becoming a slowlaner or do you think it's a good path to choose?
