This is my first Speedway post, so I thought I'd use it to show you guys my website and give a bit of background and then invite criticism and advice - *pulls on thick skin suit*
Before The Millionaire Fastlane I'd say the book that most influenced me was Netocracy by Bard and Sodeqvist - For those that haven't read it, it basically talks about how the new paradigm of Netocracy or Informationalism is replacing the old capitalist paradigm.
So that in a nutshell steered my destiny and I decided to try and build a network with a view to eventually becoming a Netocrat (btw the Fastlane Forum is a perfect example of a network espoused in the Netocracy book).
I decided that I would use the affiliate model and I would not charge for my services, in the hope that I one day am the owner of a vast network which will eventually make me money.
I had had a domain name for years that I wasn't doing anything with, I own a football (soccer) tipping site but I had made mistakes with it and what's more identified those mistakes. So I was looking to run this new domain differently but I couldn't work out how.
After reading the Netocracy book I had a flash of inspiration and realised exactly how to model the site.
Thus Betfair Trading Tips was born; a site that combined my love of sports trading with my interest in psychology and sociology, which attempts to give users a cognitive arsenal when it comes to sports trading and also to give them practical tips and trading advice.
After reading The Millionaire Fastlane I shed some of my naivety and realised that it is not the Fastlane Business that I first thought it would be, but clearly I wasn't going to flush months of hard work down the toilet and I still believed then and now that it could still be a good slowlane business at the beginning and I've had some (big) ideas on how to transform it, but that will take some time, money and know how, the last two of which I'm in the process of acquiring.
So I guess I'm asking for a critique and any advice anyone is kind enough to give; I'll also answer any questions either relating to the site or sports trading or anything you want to know or think is relevant. The site is http://www.betfairtradingtips.com/
Thanks
