So go buy Cameron's pea protein, go build a 4-hour outsourced-in-india-business then come back here to tell us about how much of a scam it was. Can't wait to read your post!

Ah yes the Trump/Fox News method of debating (Shouting/Namecalling/Toy throwing) ... It would be laughable if it weren't so serious for the USA and the World in general.

The Facts:
1.) His Books are multiple New York Times Bestsellers (whether you like them or not). If the first one was rubbish the others wouldn't have sold in droves. Marketing can only get you so far.
I believe this is what the fastlane calls a Productocracy. (pg 228 Unscripted )

2.) His Podcast is the biggest one on the Planet with over 500 million downloads (whether you like them or not). Similar point to above. His audience grows monthly and putting the books aside the podcast is breathtaking in scale and scope. and provides incredible Value and Inspiration to Millions. There's no Guru upsell here... Its a free podcast!

3.) His Guests include many of the most brilliant and successful minds on the plant. Dismissing James Cameron out of hand is a poor display of character.

The law of effection states that the more lives you affect in an entity you control, in scale and/or magnitude, the richer you will become. The shortened, sanitized version is simply: Affect millions and make millions

Like him or hate him Tim Ferris has 10x The law of effection.

Surely Tim Ferris adds value and is a successful writer and business person.

I just wants to ask a few questions.

Does Tim Ferris work fours per week?

Do you know any successful person works four hours per week?

The problem is Tim Ferris is helping to promote the short-cut scam that preys readers, that as long as you find the right method, life will be an easy route to success.

The headline of that book was a marketing headline. It wasn’t about working four hours a week if you read the book. The millionaire Fastlane isn’t about a fast lane to becoming a millionaire. Think and grow rich doesn’t mean you can just sit around and think and grow rich. It’s just a title.

I think he even used ads to split-test the title.

You seem very angry for no reason. :peace:
Now since you're ON a Tim Ferris thread let's review:

The Facts:
1.) His Books are multiple New York Times Bestsellers (whether you like them or not)
2.) His Podcast is the biggest one on the Planet with over 500 million downloads. (whether you like them or not)
3.) His Guests include some of the most brilliant minds on the plant. (whether you like them or not)

The Four Hour Work Week was a very successful if controversial book title but it wasn’t meant to be taken literally as many thought. It was simply a guide.

To Quote MJ "There is no F*cking list" Unscripted Pages 248/249

:peace::palm::bullseye:

Here's some more facts for you:

1. In one of his books/blog posts he put up some numbers for a deadlift of his. Some clued up reader realised this would make him a world deadlifting champion. He soon backtracked and said it was a rack pull instead. As if an "expert" on fitness such as ferris could ever get those two mixed up.
2. He stated he won a martial arts competition by instead of fighting just pushing his opponents off the stage. This is pretty shady but even so, nobody has ever found any trace of him winning or even entering such a competition.
3. The before and after images he uses in his books/blog posts of him losing weight/gaining muscle use all the same tricks to fake results as the shitty infomercial products from the 90s.
4. Claims to have gained 34lbs of muscle 28 days, which is physically impossible unless you're on a boat load of roids.
5. He used to sell some herbal pill with dubious claims of increasing your IQ/brain stamina.
6. ....I could go on and on and on....

The guy is an out and out fraud and scam artist. Another do-as-i-say-not-as-i-do bullshitter, a cringey snake oil salesman relic from the late 2000s.
