I am running google adwords and facebook ads currently , what sources do you prefer and how do you optimise these ads ?

What have you learned ?
Mobile advertising sources ?
What budget you started with ?
How did you grow ?
What works best ?

Any tips on facebook and google ads from your experience ?

Any advice is highly appreciated.

Thank you.

I actually make a decent amount of money off Twitter , dm automation , the app Crowdfire was .99 when I got it , now it's like $15 for automation options I think , but I believe social media is a great way to get free traffic if u understand how it works , now a lot of people on this site would disagree about social media marketing (without paid ads) but it's worked for me and it's free , I've made money off Twitter and Instagram , not yet Facebook but I'm working on it

Ps. I'm HORRIBLE at paid ads lol . Not once have I got positive roi on paid ads but I'm learning b/c I know I'm missing out on ALOT of money

So genuine social media works ,will it not take 1-2 years to get some decent followers.

You just gotta know the social media platform and know how people interact on it . I'm DEFF no social media expert but what seems to work time and time again is make genuine posts that have REAL value , and then get some of the big players on the platform to consign and help u promote your posts or product, to build a highly engaged audience you have to as u said get with the people who have large followings and similar interests and use them as leverage to get more eyes onto what you got going on

As for generating leads for my own business? Posting content in this forum has helped me more than I expected - from forum members referring me onto other business owners.

Thanks Andy that was really helpful especially about Landing page.

I have one more question.

If I have products in almost all categories (Clothing, electronics, kitchen etc) then what would be best ad description or quote for advertisement.

What should I write in ads about website ?

Thanks.

eCommerce in the clothing niche.

Paid:
Facebook Ads (Getting more expensive & i'm certain report clicks wrong)
Reddit Ads (Somewhat dependant on the emotional state of redditors at the time your ad runs, as the way the ads implement is more conversational. It's very easy for redditors to either circlejerk your product - hugely profitable, or board the band wagon and slate you)

Free:
Instagram (we all know its great for anything fashion, fitness & luxury related)
Pinterest (targetting etsy users, they seem to be affluent and like luxury clothing)

I see.

No google adwords ?

Nope.

When was the last time you clicked an ad on google & bought something?
In facebooks ads , I have see that.

If you promote with a facebook page then clicks will cost less rather than promoting without a facebook page.

Its not just google but their display partners too.

Like if I am selling car accessories then it gets displayed on a automobile blog by people who use google adsense.

And i have never clicked on facebook ads also.

I have just started a new campaign in both , lets see how it goes.

If your advertising through Adwords is profitable you should look into Bing. You can import your Adwords campaign with a few clicks. Their volume is not as high as Google, but competition is lower (so lower CPC's) and conversion rates are generally higher (perhaps users are less savvy).

I am not sure about their Indian user base , I made a deposit of 500 inr on bing yesterday and they didn't got it.

Turns out they don't accept payment from india debit card ( they accept but they don't show funds added) , now they want a bank statement to refund.

But I will surely try them once , thanks.
