@MJ DeMarco Happy to help out and offer value to the proposed 2016 meet up .
If there is a panel i am happy to answer questions based on previous presentations i did in 2015/14- face to face communication nuts and bolts etc or i can propose other topics but my focus is always kineasthetic learning ie ... participants trying it and doing it ....the subject matter that i present has to be" experienced" and not just heard

I am sorry I have not dropped in on the forum more regularly , I echo the sentiments of all of those that have posted here on how much value you will get from attending . Best thing for me is the palpable supportive energy of the people!

WOW! Somehow when I was here yesterday, I must have jumped into the middle of the thread. Thought I was on the first post - "doh!"

Depending on my other speaking engagements, I am interested in attending and interested in presenting. It would be nice to catch back up with good friends from the fastlane! I should know more by the end of the week.

Guys we are still trying to lock down a hotel, details, and costs.

The hotel we are looking at wants us to guarantee 40 rooms at 2 nights, 80 nights total (assume 100 attendees, so 40% of those attending) -- if we don't book those, I'm on the hook for the cost. Now normally I wouldn't worry about this, however, I've heard horror stories where a conference does well on attendance, but takes a killing on attendees not booking the hotel -- so the promoter takes a bath. Plus there are a lot of locals.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND (Fri/Sat/Sun) in mid/late February, will you book at the hotel hosting the summit? The location is an upmarket area/hotel and rooms are being offered at 299/night. (Upmarket means a nice resort that will make you feel like you're on vacation, e.i., Princess/Marriot/TSR/Ritz -- not Days Inn.)

Please VOTE on the hotel thingy as it will help me give an indication if we want to go down this road. A lot of folks attend locally, so it somewhat concerns me.

Tentative dates for now look to be weekend of Feb 19 or Feb 26.

I am date dependent. If I come, I will book in the conference block. I have a few other events in February, so my attendance really depends on the dates. I am likely to attend if the dates are the 26th. Tentative on the 19th.
