*) you guys are probably right about him : maybe he is just a scam wizard with no real content

anyway, what i have just understood minutes ago : his youtube channel went from 750 000 followwers to 817 000 followers in one month

+ 67 000 people in one month !!

so instead of just exposing the guy, let's understand what is going on. because there is a valuable lesson for us.

i am using Jay Abraham's method to find valuable lessons : reframing the thing by looking at the big picture
this is called " get altitude" by eben pagan

* ) instead of just exposing the guy, i want to profit from the lesson

so only a magnetic personnality can explain + 67 000 people in 30 days

it reminds me of a buddy at school. i am a reserved guy but this guy managed to attract me and a lot of people in his circle of friends

this just happened while i am a reserved guy and didn't have many friends at school

i call this : the magnetic personnality.

this buddy was stupid, careless, not interesting at all but i couldn't help myself to be around him like a butterfly with a light

do you understand what i am saying ? this is the key

so the key :
my school buddy, Tai Lopez : these guy are not talking like nervous CEO in front of the camera.

they are talking like they are your friend and since there is nothing to resist, you don't resist

people don't want to do business with boring salesmen but with friends

when you watch a Tai Lopez video, you are not watching a nervous guy trying to sell you something

you are watching a buddy talking to you in a relaxed way at the bar

and you have nothing to resist

this is the key.

This is an interesting topic, or a debate. here's my two cents and i have seen the 67 steps, i have seen all of the other 'belt' programmes i've seen the 'money' series, the 'entrepreneurs' series and the 'persuasion' series. I stumbled upon all this material from a friend who gave me all this content..he's tech savvy AF. Having seen and studied all the content, well 80% of the content as it's hard to listen to someone that rambles on for a 1-2 hour lecture and there's probably only about 20minutes of real goodies in there that as many have pointed out much better heard from a book purchased at 10-20 dollar price range.

My mobile game app business partner introduced me to his content, he's purchased teh 67 steps and another programme including his recent Social Media Marketing Agency, priced at 1k. After seeing the content that i got given, i'm a bit shocked by business partner threw money for it. Sure the information is knowledgeable but if you want to conserve your time, read a real book. You can start a business for the price of his programmes.

I've stopped listening to his stuff, i used to listen to it on way to work and inthe morning, but for the amount of time his videos go on for, it's better to listen to a real book, like the FLM over and over.

I am still monitoring him tho, as his sales copies and funnels are top of the game. He's basically selling the shovels for gold rushes. Everyone is thinking about doing social media marketing, what does he do? Puts out a social media marketing agency step by step programme for dummies. Dummies that pay him 1k for the access and are still left with having to real all those books and learm about business. He does provide easy to follow steps and i have actually secured a client that pays the recommended price of 1k/month. But then i realise, i paid 10+K for my professional studies as a construction professionla and can make more money than that, but hey, it's the internet and i feel like i'm living the laptop lifestyle which is better than a corporate job and i'm still working on my own products.

I will still follow him to learn his techniques and it's a great place to pick up good techniques to aquire customer and upsell. He is great at that.

His latest Social Media Marketing Agency has turned over quite a shit load of money. There are currently 51 lessons in this programme. Average lesson get's about 7500 comments (people have to comment on each lesson to receive a certificate at the end which states they are certified social media marketing agents trained by the best blah blah)
So take average 7500 comments = 7500 individuals that are in the programme x by $1000/subsription would give him a comfortable $7.5m for this one programme. Majority of the 'lessons' hes walking to his car from somewhere, or walking to somewhere from his car and he's holding up his phone in one hand chatting about social media recording himself. He's got videos of 'special guest experts' doing the rest of the videos.

Instead of watching one of his youtube commercials and deciding that he's a fake. study him. learn from him, not saying buy all his programmes but he's living the FLM. Why are you guys slamming someone that's an excellent example of TFLM, he makes money while he's sleeping, while he's working out, while he's making videos of his lambos. Kudos to him. Just be wise with your money and ask yourself one of the fast lane commandements, what's the COST OF GETTING IN, if it's a simple 1k payment and all of the sudden you're an expert that can open up a business...you're on the wrong side.

Tai is just good at Internet Marketing. He started off by renting a lambo and making advice videos on youtube and launched his 67 steps course on clickbank. Which had some good success. From there he built up his list and money, and continued to market his webinars and do "free giveaways" like Ipads, Iphones, etc so people really started getting on his list just for the free giveaways at some point. Later on he went into youtube ads which brought him more money. And he also made products about this whole process of his which he then marketed on his list and channel. And now he's built up enough money to feauture hot instagram models and hangout with celebrities which brings more traffic to him and his products. I used to promote his offer. + I was on his list and webinars.

But I agree with what this guys says:
I have no idea who half the people you guys talk about are. Just get to work, for F*ck's sake.

by the way, here is a compilation of 10 lessons from his 67 steps program

i think people can get value from it.

this is not 55 minutes of talking about the weather

there are real insights

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QbRsmX8q3c
Well this video was objectively excellent in my humble opinion. Great insights. It's also phenomenal how many books he can subtlety refer to without even mentioning them.

I don't know much about his business model, but I initially though his funnel entry was aimed at idiots. I'm starting to think he's actually targeting people who can be influenced easily, but who also have some brain and will power. Herbalife style.

As long as there's people who want to get rick quick or at least bask in the illusion of success, people like Tai will always be popular

Tai Lopez never forced 800,000 people to watch his videos

he gives the market what it wants.

How much do you wanna bet he will never promote any of MJ's books cuz they will lead people to this thread LOL
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe he did. Of course, I could be mistaken as it could have been someone else and I'm confusing the two.

I don't consider followers, likes, views to be "success", nothing more than a foot in the door
I have no problem with Tai Lopez at all. I think his business model works (for now)

Correct, I've seen him promote Millionaire Fastlane on his snap, maybe a couple months ago.

I hope we can all agree that he does give some great book recommendations.

Just saw a commercial by him today. I think it was on Youtube.
He shows a black Lamborghini he claims to own.
WTF does he do? I haven't seen him do anything except talk about books, books, books
and utter an endless stream of platitudes.
Is he just some kind of self-styled success guru or does he have a real business?
Is he trying to be the next Warren Buffet? The next Brian Tracy?
I heard Warren Buffet is always reading.
I don't have time to read a bunch of general advice anymore.
I just need to hustle and get a lot of work done.
I got a bunch of good work done today, which is good.
I think I'm in the zone now.

17 pages and nobody knows what he does yet.

He's a professional scammer.. or if you want to be professional about it, he preys off of insecure, young entrepreneurs and gets them to buy into his silly programs.

Absolutely, he has 1 million subs on youtube, if 0.1% of his audience buys the subscription service thats $67,000 PER MONTH. Just add a 0 onto the percent to add a 0 to the earnings. Crazy!

Well...playing devil's advocate, I just saw that Tony Robbins upcoming California seminar starts at $1300/pp and the same information is essentially being given. So, how can one be a scam and another not be a scam if both are preaching wealth, entrepreneurship and self-motivation?

Thats a fair point.....Grant Cardone is always selling seminars and conferences as well.....In the Fastlane book A Content base system is alone below a rental based and computer/software system....So clearly its working for several people.

Dude, hundreds of people get burned (literally) on Tony Robbins' seminars! He uses all the cult like mind control techniques on Earth! And he charges thousands of $ for a seminar in which he tells people to save %10 of their income and invest it in major BS! Do you see where I'm going?

Love him or hate him, Tai is an entertainer, a marketer and an online celebrity.
He's the epitome of "fake it until you make it" and he made it.
Oh, and he also made about $5,000,000 off of one affiliate offer.

I've listened to some of his ads before watching videos and I can say he has pretty sound advice. Nothing too dreamy or convoluted.

Tai Lopez:

Met the guy, bought his programs, went to his live trainings, nothing special about the guy.

The content of his accelerator/money programs ? Eh, not as valuable as you would think.

This guy is a master at talking without really saying anything valuable.

The amount of practical advice he gives out is almost non-existent & he uses lots of quotes from personal development books to sugar coat what he says.

Nice guy, smart entrepreneur but stay the F* away from anything by Tai Lopez, I think its a waste of time of money.

Pretty impressive that he has a youtube video with over 67 Million views, don't you think ?

Also, The live training he was hosting costed about $1,300 and was held in Beverly Hills.

The training was like 6 hours long. The catch ? He came towards the end and spoke for 20 minutes.... LOL

Actually....Im glad you brought that up....I actually went to Tony Robbins seminar this weekend in Chicago and he didn't come towards the end as well. I think he said a lot of nothing, me and a couple other people were the only ones not impressed. He used a lot of entertainment techniques like jumping up and down and high fives and other bs to get the crowd going. i really only went because my friend had extra tickets so I didnt pay or drive but the actual networking exp with people there was nice. Other than that it was full of people jumping up to buy programs. Funny.....because all they had to do was google these people names that were speaking and the complaints of their programs came up. But, hey.....cant get mad at people who are doing something fastlane....if all I had to do was work one weekend per month and cash out 30-75k I would be all smiles as well...

I was the ~10th person to reply to this 17 page thread.. and I am pretty sure it's been beaten up lol (havent read the 16 pages since) but... I want to revise my previous post.

I follow this Tai dude on his IG and Snapchat; I like him. I like his hustle. I like his passion. I haven't read any of his content or subscribed to anything of his nor will I.. but I will say; I 110% respect his marketing skills. He's a F*cking beast.

Everything he does and displays is extremely calculated.. his understanding of mass human psychology is something else.
