    Aside from the blatant tipping of Fast Lane term..

    Holy bad page design batman.

    That color scheme hurts my eyes. The copy is horrible. The long copy doesn't.. ever... end.. it.. just.. keeps.. going...

    There isn't a CTA until the very bottom. No ones going to stick around through a 15 minute read to see that.

    This could be a really good example of what NOT to do for a page.

    The funny thing is MJ seldom worries about people like this.

    Because... they almost always flame out.

    Nobody cares. Look at that page. sh*tty page, sh*tty message, NO contact information.

    Go ahead and give them your credit card number.

    Many times these losers trace back to an email to MJ, a forum member with negative rep, or just a nobody.

    Well I don't know about that specific site/funnel but this guy makes crazy amounts of money so he is living in the fast lane. He was recently featured on entrepreneur.com, mixergy.com, success.com and other sites.

    That is Scott Oldford. @S.O here on the forum. (Last seen here April 2014)

    He was actually selected to speak at the 2016 Fastlane Summit but never showed up. No notification, no reply to my repeated emails. Just a "no call, no show".

    He's been running ads on Facebook like crazy for this SSF thing. I had to hide his video ads because they are extremely annoying.

    There was a guy on the forum a few years ago. He talked a LOT about how much sales he did. I got to know him. What nobody knew was that he spent more than he sold. I guess he thought he would make it up in volume. Things aren't always what they appear to be.

    Probably because copying something as successful as TMF, and someone as successful as MJ, is seen as a shortcut to riches.

    As mentioned previously, the website is horrible (not just saying that because the guy ripped of TMF -- the website genuinely hurts). I was so confused that I just closed my tab because I had no idea what was going on.

    Anyway, he's not going to create long term success like this. The great thing about life is that true success is built on the right ingredients, sure you may get away with it for now but it will come back to you when you least expect it. For instance, Scott Oldford's reputation is already ruined, I've never heard or seen of him until now. I'm going to tell some of my friends about him and his website too and if they ever hear his name again in the future, they'll probably repeat what they heard about him from me. And so the question Scott must ask himself is this, 'was it really worth it?'.

    Not that he should have used those terms, but if you actually read his site....

    His version of Sidewalk, Slowlane and Fastlane has nothing to do with what MJ talks about. He uses those terms to describe people's willingness to buy a product

    • Sidewalkers don't even know they have a need for your product
    • Slowlaners know they have a need but aren't likely to buy anything right now
    • Fastlaners know they have a need are are desperate to buy something now to fix their problem.


    Now, will I sign up for his service? Nope. I don't even know what he's offering. The copy is too painful to read.
