First of all... motivation sucks. World is full of motivated people - with 2th January Syndrom. In the New Years Eve everyone has long list of changes and goals for new year, but on 2th of January everything is forget.

I have some skills as a Coach. And as enterpreneur i had many times problems with make things happen, i very often wasted times on stupid things.
I had a problem with finishing projects, i could easly start new projects, but afterwhile i loose control and did not finish that.

But the most important is... that after years of searching i found solution.
Very simply and that solution cost me nothing. Thank to that my productivity grew about 300%!

So what is the solution ... you can download free report at... JUST KIDDING 😀

The solution is to use checklists. Yes just checklist, i use them everywhere. When i plan a day or week, or go to shopping i have checklist for everything.

I use checklist on my android phone - there are plenty of free apps. I connected checklist to automatically synchronise with webservice (thanks to that i have another backup in case of phone disfunction).

I could try write everything about it, but i wrote 140 pages book about it (in less than 20 days, thanks to checklist) but in polish language.

But if you want to know more about it, and how to use it in best way, just ask and i will answer, this will be helpful for me to finish my book.

Sorry for my english, i learn this language maybe after few posts i will improve :)

BTW: Checklist is a great anty procrastinator, if you procrastinate i could help...

Welcome to the board.

Thank you for the offer of free advice.

Before we take advice from someone of course we would like to know your qualifications.

What sort of businesses do you own and how much profit do you make?

Hi PatrickP.
I live in Poland
I have 2 businesses 1.the old (since 2001) is oriented in SEO and internet marketing + i have blog network for seo purposes about 600 domains, and 275 website directories. From SEO & blog networks and directories my revenue is about 2000$ /month net
second company i LTD in uk with partner and we do seo & lead generation for finance sector here revenue is about 3-4k $ . those LTD company is quite new but has it potential.

Now i'm working on plan to make a website for entrepreneurs and freelancers - subscription service about how to start, with some marketing tools etc, that is a new project.

I know that my revenues are still low, but i'm here to get knowledge, and make progress using my seo companies i could do many things.

I run my company since 2001 i had great moments, and more bad moments. Most of them was in small or greater part my fault - sometimes i was not prepared to the storm...

After a few year of being a businessmen i was not happy with my results, then i startet attend to courses like psychological, provocative therapy and coching. Thanks to that i start developing new skills in myself, and i started to see what is really blocking me from make a progress in my life.

I developed myself as very productive person, i tested planty of tools etc. Sometimes i help somebody as a coach, but i'm doing it rather in form of help not to make money.

I read Fastlane book and think that now i'm still 3 paychecks to bancrupt - i'm too much tied to my clients, but i'm working on stuff which can help me find a fastlane way. For that i have blog network and directories they work almost automatically.

Thanks god now i'm not my biggest enemy, and i can end what i started :).

BTW. After years i have beautyfull wife and 15 months old doughter, and i'm fullfilled.
So now is the time to make progress in my business life.

I hope that this let you know me better :)

Yes check list do work! Goal setting with checklists is really nice to keep focused. Also what i would recommend is that you make the checklist for your work the night before because in my experience you set higher goals so push yourself more. Also never argue the next day about some of the points on your checklist! Do all of the and do all of them this day! Don't go to sleep before you finished it. Imo this really can get things done!

Also check out be thread which i posted just a few minutes ago. https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/mi...ed-technique-free-tool-inside.html#post226505 This should also help with checklists for the daily work. :)

Whenever I reach a point where I feel unmotivated, I start writing down every tiny goal I can think of. Stupid simple goals, ones that take almost as long to do as they do write down. Then when I can't think of anymore and I have rested my brain for a few minutes, I start knocking these 2 minute goals off the list and it catapults me into being productive again.

I got myself into the habit of writing a daily checklist before I go to bed.

I'm slowly moving myself into life automation using schedules and alarms so that I don't spend too much time thinking about my next steps. Get myself into super productivity so that motivation no longer even becomes an issue.

You can't get things done if you rely on 'motivation', you kinda just have to... do them.

Any.Do is a great free checklist for Android/iOS that syncs with a Google Chrome extension.. I recommend that for people looking for a free one. Better than most paid ones out there imo.

Like wade1mil mentioned, one of the best way to keep productivity flow is to make tiny tasks, especially when you have bigger or harder tasks. On example if you hava task to prepare a 10 page document you can make a step list for doing it and added it as your tasks. For mind it is much simplier to start simple and small task than one big, so make 10 simple task from one big.

The-J making checklist for next day is great habit is very easy when you have your checklis on your mobile, because there you have task which you added in prievious days, (on monday your added meeting in friday) So most of list is doing semi automatically. And in mobile you can add repetitive tasks - it is very helpful to remember everything.

One of my best strategy to keep me focused on important staff.
There are plenty of distractors: TV, video games etc. I love video games but it is waste of time. Especially when you play many hours.
Of course you can deny all of the games tv etc, but you will feel some king of loss, and when you morale went down you could break and play or watch etc.

I found strategy that works great for me in that case.
I can play, watch TV, play video games and other wasting time thing as long as I want, but on one condition...

Every minute cost me 5 push-ups, or 2 excercises with 24kg kettlebell. So for 30 minutes i have to do 150 push-ups.
Thanks to that i do not have any feel of loss, because i can play as much as i want :) and i started to exercise - every day.
After some time when i will have stronger muscle i will change rates to 6-7 push-ups and 3-4 kettlebell. Because it have to some efford to earn one minute to lose.

Some of my friend tried that strategy and they are happy with it.
All the best!
