and he promptly left.

And he will never return.

Why?

He visited the forum at an unfortunate time.

On the front page, he was greeted with shit threads like this:

Sex, Drugs, and Hookers? Where Do I Find Them?
From $0 to $1 Billion in One Month! Help me pick a Wordpress Template.

Does Anyone Here Own a Business?
Few of us will ever get rich...
How many people here own Lambos?
What percentage of people here are millionaires?
Why can't my dropshipping website which sells cheap imported China junk make any sales?
Is trading Forex Fastlane?

If you have been linked to this thread, your thread topic was moved to the LANDFILL -- the LANDFILL is a forum cesspool for poor quality threads-- threads that add no value, little value, I'm getting laid/slaying chicks, entrepreneurial masturbation (what color should my Ferrari be?), income declarations with zero foundation, zero revenue, zero products, or, they show your unwillingness (or laziness) to do simple due diligence: A) a quick forum search or B) a simple google search.

The reference the moderators and I use to determine which threads are moved to the LANDFILL is this:

If a rockstar entrepreneur visited our forum, either male or female, and they read this particular thread, would they be inclined to stay at the forum? Contribute their good sense? Or would they say "WTF?" and leave?

If the answer is the latter, we move the thread to the LANDFILL.

The Landfill (Low Value)

If you feel a thread is poor quality, adds nothing, and is simply cluttering the front page and making the forum look like amateur hour, TAG A MODERATOR and add [HASHTAG]#Landfill[/HASHTAG]. We will take a peek and make an evaluation for a move, or better, a full-scale delete.

Thank you
The Management

Such a pity and not something I was expecting to hear.

Elon is a man I'd love to have learned some advice from and would have made an excellent contributor to the forum along with the reputation. Very unfortunate to hear this mate.

I can definitely agree about this forum having a lot of crap on it lately in terms of postings... And to the people out there for future references; No one gives a F*ck about you getting poon on the weekend, no one cares about your dating life and certainly no one gives a shit about what color you want your future liability to be.

This is a forum for failures, successes and action along with some great stories to tell along the way.. It's here to build each other up and support each other.. But damn, some personal shit just needs to stay off the forum. I hope I'm not sounding like an a**hole here and if so, I am sorry for coming across so blunt, but personally it really does disappoint me to hear this.

Lets just do better in the future, and ask ourselves before posting; "Does this really belong here on the forum?".

Feel me?

Well well, this is quite a revelation. I really bought all the fastlane stuff, I still use some of it, but this forum is nothing but a religion/extremist movement. With MJ's book at the center and that is the real reason why Politics and Religion aren't tolerated.

I just had the confirmation right now when my message "Maybe Elon Musk posted and got [HASHTAG]#landfill[/HASHTAG] tagged" got deleted.

The reason or the removal of my message was " Adds nothing of value".

Not porn, nothing explicit, just me speaking my mind.

Yet it added so much color to the tern "create value, don't be after money, and worship MJ" you are chanting during your march.

Nobody's worshipping MJ, we just have mad respect for the man who changed most of our lives. And not just MJ, but all the other great people on here like ICK, Vig, Bio, Kak, Andy, AllenCrawley, etc.

Search for their threads and you won't find one nonsense one like your last ones.

Because if you have a bigger brain then a monkey has - you have to evaluate information based on analysis of its substance, not based on paycheck images, ownership validation and etc. People share their experience, will you use it or not is up to you.
If you're poor you don't have to worry about anything - nobody wants to steal your pennies. People who are not - do have things to worry about.

Not sure if I completely understood what you tried to tell.

Should the Tim Sykes thread be there? Probably not, but I guess it's amusing. But this forum is ft peacocking.

This isn't MTV cribs.

Your thread had two interpretations.

  • Being passive aggressive and asking people to prove that they're wealthy to validate their advice. You're pretty much saying "I don't believe any of you are worth crap, so I'll have people post their mansions to see who actually did win at business"
  • You are assuming this forum is about being a peacock. Strutting around and showing off all your cool stuff.

i can't realy understand why asking people to show their success is a problem.

people here show topic like that :

https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/community/threads/tim-sykes-5-000-000-miami-mansion.51406/

explain where is the value ?

and when we ask readers the same thing, the thread is deleted. from a logical point of view, it does not make sense.

The big hitters on the forum don't need to show it, you can tell they already have it by the way they talk and the advice they give.

It's absolutely rude to ask someone giving great advice to "show their paycheck" as people perceive the question as "oh he doesn't care for the advice, he only wants to see numbers".Or they assume you think their advice is useless without showing proof of a paycheck.

The ones who openly flaunt or talk about paychecks are the ones you should look out for, I should know.

1. It wasn't deleted. Just moved to TheLandfill where it belongs.
2. It was a veiled attempt to prove some of the asinine posts you litter our forum with.
3. The legit wealthy here would never respond to your thread with photos proving their wealth.
4. Some of the legit wealthy here don't have mansions and exotic cars.
5. If you spent less time posting and more time reading the Gold threads you'd have a much better understanding of who's who around here.

i can't realy understand why asking people to show their success is a problem.

First of all, anything can be faked. There was a member here some time ago that showed 'proof' of his million dollar bank statement. Another member had his Ferrari as an avatar and he wasn't everything he was made out to be.

No matter what anyone shows, you should always be skeptical. Always.

Second of all, it provides no value to show what you have. If they have it, you don't know how they got it. They could be scammers, or thieves, or fraudsters. And, if they're posting about what they have but aren't sharing what they've learned through their process... how does that help you?

I've met some of these guys in real life and I vouch for them, but I have no idea what's in their bank accounts. I do, however, know what kind of lives they live and it's assuredly Fastlane. Some of these guys I didn't know about their success from the forum.

People can talk all they want on here but until you know them, you won't know if they're actually living the life.

(By the way, you don't need a huge income to live the life. The life is actually pretty inexpensive, unless you want yachts and million-dollar vacation homes and things of that nature. Plus, the Fastlane is a mindset anyway; it's not an arbitrary money definition)

Third, posting what you have places a giant target on your back. It's a dumb move. Some guys here grossly underplay their success and it's for good reason.

i can't realy understand why asking people to show their success is a problem.

People who wildly flaunt their success on social media usually are doing it to grease young impressionable minds-- it's a part of their business model so they can sell seminars, coaching programs, and memberships.

Anyone can finance a Lamborghini for like $1,200/mo -- certainly not a staggering level of income. My guess is half of these folks are legit, the other half are posers.

Did you miss a zero on that number?

Even an old a$$ Gallardo (04ish)would be out of that range unless you dropped like 30-40K down

That $2.75 ATM fee has gotta sting....
at 5% interest, in one hour the owner of this receipt will make another $570, so they could do this once an hour, and still come out ahead. (kinda nuts if you think about it)

Elon's a superpower. We are all newbies compared to him.

There's not a single billionaire here. I'm not a billionaire, let alone a millionaire.
Why should he EVEN stop here? He's the creator of Paypal, Space X, Solar City, Tesla.

He's a savage. Heck, after the sale of Paypal he could have taken his loot and retired forever. But he didn't. He invested everything into his further ventures and turns out, the guys making Iron Man had to see him. Talk about legacy.

He's in a more higher-tier game. We cannot force him to open doors. Whatever he opens with open and whatever he closes will close.

And he's probably busy working on good projects to benefit all of us. So I'm actually even surprised he even has the time to come here. I know it would be a great honour to meet Elon, but to be honest, some people give more when they are working their a$$ off. EXTRA MORE.

But still the moderators have done a decent job. No MLM crap, no finance guru rehash. Very safe and clean compared to most forums and media feeds.
