Andy Frisella is awesome. I first found out about his MFCEO podcast a few months ago, based on podcast recommendations here on this forum. I was skeptical at first, based on how he treated others on his show. But after hearing him speak, I immediately realized how great his points were and how I needed to not give a F*ck. I also realized how people take it as constructive criticism and use his blunt attitude to push themselves forward, which is exactly what it will do for you, and anybody who listens to it. He talks to his audience in the same way. It was a mental shift in perspective for me. He does it because he is passionate about the success of the people around him and giving people valuable feedback that might not get through to them otherwise. This podcast is exactly what i needed at this point in my life, and now i listen to him every day on my commute to work, along with my relevant audiobooks. If anyone reading this is skeptical about him, just listen through a few episodes before you make your final judgement. You'll understand what i'm saying.
I have also been working on 75HARD, and you'll never guess where i keep messing up. It's that damn gallon of water every day. Everything else is doable. I go long periods of my days without access to a restroom. I am working on a game plan right now to combat this, and I am overcoming any obstacles that stand in my way of accomplishing 75HARD. Just as Andy said, "it will teach you that sometimes the things that look easy, are actually some of the hardest things to do!". and, that comment was directed specifically toward the people who think that drinking a gallon of water every day is easy. He was right.
If i can do it without easy access to a restroom, you guys can do it much more easily. Don't give up.
Haha I definitely would not be able to do keep doing it without an easy access to a restroom (but since I’m a guy I can take a pee pretty much anywhere. )
The water used to be the hardest part for me, I am also a ‘small guy’, barely drank Any water before this ( one glass of water on good days) and I thought just like you guys when I started, I wanted to let myself off the hook on the water part because if Andy drinks 1 gallon and he weighs twice as me, I thought I shouldn’t. Either way, I did. I sure had to force it at the beginning, but I still did.
And the thing I really got about the water is that it’s only a matter of pacing it. Drink it throughout your day and you wouldn’t even be bothered with it. When I started with the program I only drank water and still barely finished, I wasn’t pacing it. Now I drink around 5 litters some days & some days I drink coffee too or juice if I finish my 4 litters early.
