If you are speaking for this event, I need to get your FINAL presentation title and summary within weeks as we are printing the itinerary. I will also need your PRESENTATION FILES/SLIDES at least ONE WEEK before the meeting. Optimally we'd like to get all the slides on a flash-drive prior to the event. Last year we wasted a lot of time in transferring files and other difficulties.

As for the presentation themselves, I need a simple TITLE and short sentence SUMMARY.

For example:

Title: The Cultural Cross-Communication Bootcamp
Summary: International communication in an international world. Personal space, body language and your vocal tonality in influencing clients from differing cultural backgrounds.

Some of you submitted multiple ideas and I realize that some of the topics might have changed since submission. I need your final description/title as listed above by Friday January 26th.

Feel free to post it here.
Thanks!

I've still got to buy my plane tickets. Summit vets, does anyone hang around on Sunday after the Summit is over, or does everyone bail early? If everyone leaves early, I'll just get a Sunday a.m. plane ticket to get home. But I'd love to hang out with folks if anyone is still around and then fly out Sunday evening. Thanks!

Title:
Commercial Real Estate vs. Golf Course... And the winner is...
Golf Course Operation Experience - Challenges and Execution

Let me know if you need the title shortened for space.

Summary:
Comparison of a golf course and retail strip center investments. Down payment, capital improvements, costs, returns, etc... Side by side evaluation of which was the better investment.

Daily grind of what it takes to purchase a money losing golf course and steer it to profitability.

@csalvato -- An Exploration into Cryptocurrency and Why is Should Be A Part of Your Entrepreneurial Lexicon. How it works, future outlooks, and why you should get in as early as possible.

So when I proposed this talk back in September, Crypto was way less popular and now things have dramatically changed, of course.

I was originally going to present a breakdown of how Bitcoin in particular works under the hood, and show how this knowledge will:

1. Put you at an advantage when assessing the potential of alt coins and Bitcoin alternatives
2. Recognize the underlying forces behind the waves Bitcoin and Blockchain are creating, so they can be harnessed in your own entrepreneurial endeavors.

Is this what you guys would prefer to hear about Crypto? Or should I change course? If so, what are the things you'd like to know?

Yes please! Apparently Bitcoin is an important topic but I simply cannot allocate any time to it since I'm not investing in Bitcoin atm. My understanding is like most news articles about this topic, very shallow. Beyond "There is a limited amount of Bitoin" & "The transaction history cannot be altered", I knew very little.

Also, if you could comment on the recent hacking case in Japan, that'd be great! Thank you!

Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone knows when the break times for 2018 summit is? My friend might have to take some calls and he doesn't want to disturb and miss stuff from the speakers. I know it is probably unpredictable but I never been to this event so I can't say for certain. I know it runs 8-5 pm from friday to saturday.

Thanks

edit: ok I just saw the schedule on top of my post, so there would be a break from 12-1:30 pm. My mistake.

Lunch is break time.

We also might have some time during the event to take 10 minute breaks.

I set the schedule pretty loosely to allot for overages, setup times, etc.

If all goes well, I think we can drop a 10-minute break in both mornings and afternoons.
