My original post was about nutrition sir.+100.
Yea, right about until their throats are slit.
There is nothing humane about slaughter. Feeding them grass don't change the calculus. While you claim you love animals, you simply don't love them enough -- at least enough to care about who arrives on your plate and how.
Please leave the thread -- we're not here to help you balance on the beam of mental gymnastics.
My concern with going vegan is im too paranoid about not getting the nutrients body needs, i can buy 1 pound grass fed ground beef at whole foods and some potatoes and butter, and some liver once every 2 months or so, some salmon and sardines here and there, and im certain all the necessary life nutrients are there.
Without these ingredients im just so unsure, and i dont want ot take supplements either to make up for it.
Here is the response that made things take an "ethical" turn:
If you're satisfied with how things are then you will have no motivation to change.
You need to have a compelling reason to become and continue being vegan for it to work. There's not really a good reason to try it as a fad or trend.
For example, I am vegan primarily because I care about animals. Many others have a similar view and are known as ethical vegans. Others are vegan for allergies, health, losing weight, etc. If you care about something, you make it work.
Becoming vegan with no reason is like starting a business when you're content being a slowlaner. You will give up because it's not worth the effort and potential sacrifice to you.
I felt defensive and had to argue back, my apologies.
Let's stick to nutrition.
