It is like asking me the pros and cons of a smoking vaccine when I don't smoke.

I know people in their early 30s died and many in their 40s.

Even though I would blame government(election rally and inaction) and health care system, but contrary to popular belief india is not all slums. We have good health care system not great but good.

As of now the there is oxygen shortage in india and strain on health care system.

The thing might be different in your country because of low number of cases and proper handling of situation.

There might be survivorship bias amongst anti vaccors. Though I agree that we would never know the long term safety of the vaccine.

I wish you for a good health.

I think a piece that gets missed is that not everybody cares about everybody else. Not everybody cares about vaccines or viruses or what everyone thinks they should or shouldn't do. Not everyone cares about the risk to themselves or others.

I also think pretty much everyone on the planet still forgets, or consciously overlooks, that they are going to die whether they take the vaccine or not. So what does it matter what decision is made? Everyone dies. Every last one, and until that changes, vaccine or no vaccine makes no difference. Life ends all the same, so even if the vaccine "saves lives" it really doesn't. It only prolongs the inevitable.



So we are left with living from one moment to the next until our time runs out and if that is how things are, then there is no point living in ways that do not reflect the choices you want to make, the ways you want to live, or the person you want to be. In the end, it doesn't matter. It's dark, but that's life.

I still don't think it's a useful perspective. Who knows, some entrepreneurs might have it all figured out. Even if they don't, we all suffer sooner or later. That's one absolute I'm willing to bet on.

Thinking for oneself is a good thing. Asking questions, being a bit skeptical, wanting to know WHY, all good things.

So don’t worry about whatever that guy said about “circlejerking.” He just wants you to accept the status quo and stop asking questions.

I don't remember in which copywriting book I learned that products have life-cycles.

It means that the marketing strategy must constantly evolve or the product dies.

This pushes advertisers to constantly find new problems or to rebrand them so that customers keep on buying their products.

That changed the way I look at society.

I used to believe all the problems in the world were real.

Now I just look at all that as narratives manufactured by those in charge to get people to keep on buying.

But I actually don't believe any of these are real problems, or that the world is about to collapse.

The world has been collapsing since we came up with this concept.

It's also a concept that doesn't exist in other cultures, where cycles, instead of being linear, are circular.

On a different note I am really enjoying boxing.

I have been going now around 8 months and it is always challenging.

What is crazy is how much there is to it. I am still blown away how good someone who is good at boxing is - you literally can't even get close to punching them without getting smashed yourself.

I am thinking it will probably take a few years until I feel at a decent level - but I am super motivated to get there.

A friend is into BJJ. As he was showing me some moves, I was like "and what if I don't play by the rules now and just kick you in the balls?" His response "Well then I'm fu****." Don't get me wrong, it was fun and there's some merit to it. But the assumptions make it a very dangerous activity for someone who thinks that now they're invincible.

Granted, I used to train krav maga which doesn't concern itself with many rules and nut-kicking, fingers in the eyes, etc. are the bread and butter.

Call me a sell-out but I'll get the vaccine to be able to travel freely. I don't see unvaxinated people being able to travel easily anytime soon and I'm not going to lose years of my life not being able to travel or having to do countless tests, quarantines, etc.

Well, I decided to run a marathon in January with a friend of mine who is 25 years older than me. Lol. He has had some health problems and has every excuse not to do this, but he’s now miles ahead of what I can do. If he’s going for this, I decided I needed to grow a pair and go for it.

I have never done anything like that in my entire life. The most I have ever run at a time might be 3 miles.

Here’s the deal though, given enough time, devotion, and discipline… I know for a fact I can make it happen.

Got fitted for a new pair of Brooks shoes this evening and I’ll be strapping them on in the morning for what will undoubtedly be the most torturous of the training days. Day one.

I was reading a book about this topic a while ago by Elizabeth Gilbert. She describes how ideas are an energetic life-form looking for a human partner. If it thinks that you can do the job, it will pay you a visit. But, if it notices that you won't collaborate to the execution, it will find someone else. It will not wait for you forever.

Now I know that this is magical realism, but it always stuck with me in a way to remind me that if I don't take action, someone else will.

Elizabeth Gilbert is a hell of a writer and journalist. If you like her books, I highly recommend you Big Magic. This one is incredible.

Yeah, a mental dimension so to speak where the physical needs the mental but the mental does not need the physical. We can have an understanding of something before it manifests physically.

True stuff for sure and actually very practical for solving problems in the real world.

this is crucial to understand if anybody want to be a professional problem solver..

I honestly believe that the mental will always need the physical. Otherwise, we would be talking about something close to post-humanism.
