I have a brief observation to share.
I'm transitioning away from low pricing and seeing some unbelievable things.
Today I told 2 prospective clients I wouldn't take them on. I wouldn't work with them because they're budget wasn't high enough and I didn't think their project overall could earn them back a good ROI. Both clients were impressed by my honesty.
Both clients immediately told me they wanted to work with me, but I continued to be unsure about working with them. I charged higher than normal and both clients were happy to pay the price (50% upfront) and one of them even got on the phone and had the consultation moments after the deal (closed over email, then had call).
Clients want the best of the best and they were excited to work with me because they perceived my value as very high.
Conclusion:
CHARGE MORE // be exclusive, only work with people you can truly help
To clarify (the deals both closed in a 1 hour time, consultation will take a few more hours)
This $400 is for 2 consultation.
