1) Watch this thread.

2) Visit the forum regularly as the initial announcements will be put there TO START. The ticket notices will happen in an order of progression starting with those who are regular forum contributors and participants -- the squeaky wheels will get first offerings of the grease. After that, it will be more actively advertised.

As a reminder, this is NOT a for-profit event and never has been. If it was, tickets would be TWICE as much and we'd have a room for 1000. And then I'd advertise it like crazy. Any profit from this event occurs solely as cushion from loss. The casino has significant minimums and requirements.
 
I hate to be the guy to ask this, but is there even a remote chance that some of the presentations could be recorded and made available to INSIDERS for an extra fee? (Perhaps the price of a ticket?)

I completely understand though if you want to keep the summit content exclusive to those that actually show up in person. :)
Even if we offered recordings the speakers have the ultimate say as most speakers request to not be recorded. Plus offering recordings would add more complexity to an already complex offering.
 
I am not active on the board although I know I should be.

But I cannot emphasize enough how incredible this event is. If you haven't come before find a way to get there. There is simply nothing like it.
 
Speaker invites are now going out, albeit they're only going out ONE at a time for coordination purposes. Hope to have them all out by early next week.

When we lock down confirmed speakers, date of ticket sale should be next.
 
This is an informal inquiry into speakers for the Fastlane 2018 Summit, assuming we put on the event.

This event is both a networking event, and a learning opportunity.

I have used these techniques often to find agreement either between conflicting parties in a deal, and/or in my personal business dealings. It's a different point of view from what most people use when they are selling a product or an idea. Finding agreement, a bargained for exchange, with other people (and companies) is the basis of all business successes. If you have any interest, I'll looking through my past speaking/teaching notes, and provide you with more information on what type of information I would be presenting.

Yes - AZ. It's a casino about 45 min from PHX airport. Nice place. North side rooms have an amazing view of the mountains.

FYI: We've had around 30+ people offer to speak, so getting through them all has been difficult. I'd like to hear everyone as all of these topics are EXCELLENT.
 
FYI - Enterprise Exotic has a location (well, pick-up) at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. And everyone knows the only way to be taken seriously at this meet-up is to arrive in a rented Huracan.

That said, if you are used to driving a Tesla or BMW, you can rent them here. You'll find me in the mid-size economy car from whoever is cheapest.

Just a FWIW pointer to those who do plan on renting a car upon arrival and don't do so often. Car rental companies are notorious for jacking up the prices of airport locations. Phoenix is especially guilty. Expect to pay nearly DOUBLE if renting at the airport at the time of this conference (the heart of high season). Alternatively, take a <$20 uber offsite and rent one for half the price. I've price-checked and verified this. If you're only going for two days it may not be a big deal, but certainly worth going off-site if you're staying 3-4+. Also, you can ask to return the car at the airport for a very reasonable fee, still leaving you with great savings and then no risk of missing your flight.
 
For those of you sent speaking invites and have not responded yet (either yay or nay) I need to know within 24 hours, otherwise I have to offer the spot to someone else so we can get the agenda firmed up and on to ticket sales. Thanks.

FYI, all speaker invites have been sent out and picking these was like picking a favorite son or daughter. Not an easy job.

For those of you NOT selected, here was my thought process on speakers...

Foremost, thank you for offering!
So first, I considered the details of your presentation.
Second, how impactful the presentation could be to a diverse group of entrepreneurs.
Third, your tenure at the forum and your overall participation here.
And fourth, if you spoke before at a Summit (recently) I tried to put a priority on new speakers because many attendees are attending their 2nd or 3rd summit, so we've heard from many in the group before.

Overall, we had about 30 presentation submissions (here and via email) and all of them were great.

I wish we could hear them all.

In the meantime, I will hold onto the submissions as backups in case one of our speakers cannot attend. Last year we had 2 speakers miss out, 1 due to bad weather, and the other, due to bad crab legs. (lol!)
