This gym was PACKED every day from Jan 1st till yesterday.

I knew it would happen, just had to wait it out - the day everyone would quit.

I wish I had the before photo, every one of these machines was being used.
Had to wait for half the equipment etc.

But sure as every year, 90% have already given up.

That's so wild how people give up so quickly- even when they KNOW giving up is a meme and is easily avoidable.

My current gym didn't have a NYE influx for some reason (?) but the past few NY resolution waves I've seen at other gyms usually played out the same way. Really appreciate being able to get in and get my workout done on time without someone trying to do buttcheek clenches in the squat racks.

A few months ago, I told a girl I liked I liked her, and she said she liked me back, but a few days later, she asked my best friend out.

I was upset but eventually got over it and began to think she was, weird.

Fast forward to today, and I learnt, she has made death threats to countless other girls, which led to more drama; and it didn’t stop.

Now, everyone has blocked her and they all hate her.

Sometimes don’t be so quick to decide if things that happen in your life are negative or positive.

It was because I’ve never participated in a Black Friday and it’s not really a thing anymore in retail stores.

Yes. I think so, Didn't know they existed. Her dream goal was to be married, have kids, and host events with friends on an Acreage house on or by a lake.

I had the craziest dream of my life last night.

I was watching set in movie in space that was made exactly in a Stanley Kubrick style. But it was super immersive. Like being there but not being a part of it. And it felt like a full 3 hour movie with a full proper story line and all the usual scenes and plot twists etc.

I woke up right as it ended around 3am. It was so intense that I had to Google if this movie actually existed (it didnt ha) because it felt completely real. Like I had watched it before and was just replaying it in my mind.

Hard to describe but it was like a normal dream with 10 times the "realness".

Maybe some dream expert on here can tell me what it means. Felt amazing but no idea why it happened.

It's more of a regional thing & definitely not widely used in real estate here. It's becoming more & more popular as people are/have been looking to get away from Urban Sprawl & have delusional dreams of homesteading while simultaneously receiving Prime same day deliveries.

The airport screen was nice enough to let me know that there are on average about 9,700 planes in the air at any given time. That sure makes me feel good knowing that the #1 hiring practice at the moment is "diversity and inclusion".

If there is one industry that the world needs to focus on more ESG it is in a nice easy job like being a pilot. Merit? Pft, who wants the most skilled pilot! I mean it's not like we ever see them anyways, all tucked away at the front of the plane that you can't even lay eyes on. We need more diversity behind that closed door! To hell with the best pilot for the job! Gimme that ESG score!

I saw this, but I also saw the new Argentinian Libertarian Giga-chad president had a 24 minute speech calling them out for being socialist rats and a world-wide 5th column (of degenerates) to their faces.
Saw a really good AI dub using his own accent and re-animating his mouth movements, I'd need to go dig it up though.

Still surprised, Klaus Schwab is supposed to be smart, why would you invite the man that used a chainsaw on red tape as his campaigning prop, just nuked argentina's DIE/welfare programs from orbit, implemented strict tariffs (raised the price of flour in bolivia by 50% in a week! (cutting off smuggling that hurt the local economy)) and continues to dropkick government bloat and grift as though he would walk in and play nice.

This is a term we use regularly in Canada. It generally just means like a farm house outside the city on a big property. Doesn't even need to be a literal farm, just a big property outside the city.
