Hi, fastlaners,
I discovered this entrepreneurship stuff like 2 years ago, got interested in dropshipping, digital marketing, and business.
The truth is I have never really made a lot of money, I was working in construction previously, and just started shifting into the digital world.
I just turned 24 last spring, I would love to start a digital business one day, mainly to allow for things like traveling and lifestyle freedom. But I
am also highly considering going to college. I couldn't go to college before, It was because some immigration status thing, but now I can.
Since I am more inclined into marketing and tech. I am thinking of getting either a marketing or a computer science degree. I know that to start
a lot of businesses, you need a certain amount of capital and skills. I just don't have that income source right now to fund a business that could potentially flop and cover my cost
of living. I am also too skeptic of all these gurus pushing smma, copywriting, and cold closing as a ticket to entrepreneurship and financial freedom.
It's not easy when you don't have experience, and the right knowledge.

What do you guys think, should I invest in myself by going to college? or do you recommend "thugging it out" by working multiple jobs and saving to launch something?

I took the all caps off your thread title, and removed the word "rant".

There's a lot of threads in the forum about going to college or not.

It depends too much on your own goals, circumstances, and opportunities for us to really advise.

You don't *need* to go to college to start a business.

Oh, and check your post to see if you're "me" focused or focused on serving people (aka adding value).

Use Delta Utility Model (DUM) to help you arrive at conclusion. It's been mostly created for design purposes (Musk uses it), but math is math. Can aswell use it just for simple decision making.

You need to work out on your personal finance.

Since you stopped working in construction how do you get money to fund your daily expenses.

Also to put college tuition fee into consideration.

Impossible to analyse without number.
