Myself and three partners are starting a service/information product company that involves various non-income and income-generating tasks, some immediately generate income and some passively generate income.
E.g., coaching, marketing, writing a book and building coaching plans.
Not all partners have as much time to work on the business. I'm working on it 40-60 hours/week. Some have full time jobs and only spend 10 hours/week. Some are creating unique intellectual property for the company.
Obviously there are lots of concerns, and since none of us have experience dealing with ownership and handling money, I'd love to get some opinions/full blown resources (books OK
) on how to structure pay, how to structure ownership, how to deal with our intellectual property, and what issues might arise.
