Twitter is supposed to be a cesspool right? When I was on a couple of years ago I had a ball. I was in Tech Twitter and Startup Twitter, not Money Twitter or political infighting Twitter.<br />

I've never seen any arguments on Facebook either.<br />
<br />
And my experience on Reddit has always been positive.<br />
<br />
I'd say LinkedIn tends towards civility and supportiveness more than other platforms. People know it's their platform for life, ans they know talking smack on LinkedIn is more likely to impact their future career or business growth.

I have definitely collected a lot of weirdos over the years being in the "general public"<br />

I wasn't intentional with it. Should have been. Didn't know better at the time. Ignorance is not a good defense, though.<br />
<br />
Now I'm really trying to be intentional about who I follow, who I engage with, and what I post.<br />
