I am reading "Sons of fortune" by Jeffery Archer. The book is fairly interesting but not one of Archer's best I would say.

Crash Proof 2.0 - How to Profit from the Economic Collapse by Peter Schiff

Amazon.com: Crash Proof 2.0: How to Profit From the Economic Collapse (9780470474532): Peter D. Schiff, John Downes: Books

I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the first one. Mostly all he has added was about 100 pages of saying he was right about everything in book one.

I didn't see him break any new ground with 2.0, maybe it wasn't possible, since even though the crash has happened, the bottom hasn't completely fallen out like he predicted.

I agree that it would be cool to see him get elected - will be interesting to see if he can actually affect change, or whether the political system just eats his idealism for lunch.

Yeah, I agree. 2.0 was just a little bit of update to the older one.

Read "The Alchemist" and "The Winner Stands Alone" by Paulo Coelho. Both very good cuz incorporate life lessons while telling a good story.

Also reading "ReWork" by 37Signals, "America Unchained" by Dave Gorman (adventure traveling USA using a secondhand car and stores/petrol stations and etc that do not belong to any of the biggest retail chains (funny and makes me want to visit USA even more).

Also reading one PHP manual to learn it ;)

How is this? Worth reading or what?

Hmm...it's like a motivational book I think. Sort of like Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk... It goes against the grain of most start up/entreoreneurial advice now and is interesting. It works for 37Signals, might work for others too. I havent finished it yet, and even if I got some thoughts from it on how to run my own ventures in the future I can't call it incredibly great book...

Re-reading How to Be a Billionaire: Proven Strategies from the Titans of Wealth through a different set of lenses. Though I am still an aspiring billionaire, my understanding of economics has grown by leaps and bounds since I first read this book 4 years ago. I am looking at how some of the billionaires used government compulsion and influence as a tool to achieve their successes, as opposed to sheer ability (the path of free market entrepreneurs). Now, I know what NOT to do on my fastlane.

Started Switch by Chip and Dan Heath a few weeks ago. Seems like a good book on how to make or adjust to changes in a business like setting. Change is hard for most people and this book, I think will point out how to do it. Then I got sidetracked since I started the book since my boss wants me to read other books.
