I'm currently looking to hire a LinkedIn Lead Generation Specialist for Outreach Campaigns on LinkedIn.

Everyone is saying that LinkedIn is in its "golden age" for B2B selling.

Has anyone here ever had success with Outreach on LinkedIn? (Sales Navigator to identify your prospects + Clever Outreach Inbox Messaging)

If so, what do you think is the formula for succeeding with LinkedIn Outreach?

Sebastya said:

I used DuxSoup and I had decent results. If enough people deny your connection request however it brings the campaign to a halt.

How did you approach creating your automated message sequence creation? Eg. Some people pitch first, others begin a conversation, etc.

I have some friends who are really good at this.

The one guy owns an AMZ PPC agency, and does outreach thru Linked In. I've seen some of the messages he sends. Seems to be pitch first. Convo first is played out he says. People want straight to the point. Here's one of the messages he showed me:

Hi ____

Based on ________ I thought you would appreciate an introduction my colleague,XXX that has driven half a billion in sales on Amazon.

Does it make sense for you to have a quick call on Tuesday or Thursday anytime from 1:30-3 pm EST?

It's either they want it or they don't. He says he doesn't waste time beating around the bush.

Let me know how it works out for you.

Hence why now the trend is to have conversations.

I think both approaches work depending on the person (Eg. a Triple A Personality type would like receiving a straight to the point message approach more).

I just closed a $1,400 deal last night via strictly LinkedIn Inbox messaging (Where I had the conversational approach and transitioned into closing him via chat).

With that said - I think the straight to the point approach works best if you seriously have a really good offer that stands out.

I guess it's just a numbers game like anything else... some people (myself) would much rather have a straight to the point message. Some people prefer to conversate. The only true way would be to test both. I'd test straight to the point first cause it's less back and forth. If it's shit, start sliding in those DMs different lol.

Need to get back on there myself. I'll update my profile tonight and start testing as well, and report back.

Thanks for the reminder.

Its inmail messages where he can name drop?

He says once they connect, so yes. He asks them to connect, and chat, once they connect, he chats with the above message. There are two partners in the biz, him and his partner. His partner has a semi "known" name from working at agencies and with huge brands. So he can name drop the brands and his partner, then get on a 3 way call with everyone.

His aim is medium-large ecommerce brands (over 5m/revenue/year) so YMMV depending on the industry. I think it would be easier for smaller companies but who knows.
