Hey guys,

I am collecting ideas all over the place for target market for express delivery company.

On what instances do people send things with express delivery?

What kind of companies do use express deliveries?

Who are the kinds of people who are sending things with express?

Where and how would you start to market an express delivery company?

Any advice and comment would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance

I see it this way:

Supplier -- [manufacturer -- distributor -- Retailer] -- End consumer
You can club the 3 in between and source the supplier to consumer.

Export, import and domestic
Air and ocean freight
Contract and industry

Try and have end to end transport management.

They look at:
Transit time
Right day delivery
Reachable Service points
Reduce need for inventories
Time definite delivery process and secure
Maintain short routing
Lesser disruptions

Gauge the business with:
Population
Business environment - openness
Trade policy and regulatories
Remoteness
Conflicts and integration
Transport infrastructure

Ideally:
For door to door delivery capability
Customers are B2B shipments and focus on SME
Concentrate on growth markets
Focus on profitability and value oriented pricing.

Come to Canada and pull it off here. Shipping is god awful. Why does it take 2 days to send a letter 30 minutes away?! Why do I gotta wait 3 weeks for a package? Why does a package coming in from Florida take less time than a package coming in from F*cking Ottawa?

Solve these problems for the 30 million of us up here, please.

P.S. I hear ChitChat is a competitor up here doing it decent. Amazon Prime came here recently, too, although I've heard from some people that 2-day shipping is still a myth up here. So pull it off and have my gratitude
