Hi everyone,
I'm currently embarking on an exciting venture: launching an online real estate marketplace for my country. Surprisingly, such a platform doesn't exist there yet. Only a handful of foreign real estate agents have their own websites, while local agents primarily advertise through various Facebook groups and pages. Clearly, there's room for more efficiency.
After conducting some research in these groups, I found that both agents and citizens are receptive to the idea of a centralized website for buying and renting properties. Thus, I began this journey. However, my technical skills are limited, and using a no-code platform seemed the most feasible option, especially considering my budget constraints.
I've nearly completed my MVP, but I've hit a technical snag related to one of Google's API that no one has been able to resolve yet. This led me to explore alternative solutions, and I discovered several companies offering ready-made website clones. After thorough research, one company, in particular, stood out with positive reviews.
My question to you all is this: would it be wise to purchase an affordable, ready-made website rather than reinventing the wheel?
Real estate marketplaces have certain core functionalities that could be easily replicated, providing a solid foundation to start from.
While I have some technical knowledge, I am far from an expert. Relying on another company's technical support would be necessary, which means I would depend on their services and incur ongoing costs. Do you see any risks or issues in this approach that I should consider? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
