After a short call with Chris Waldron (@LightHouse), who told me I needed to learn how to sell myself I set out to learn how to do it. Starting off, I went door to door selling at-home fitness courses. The anticipation of that first door was great, I chickened out and didn't go to my first door until I saw they had a bicycle outside. I stumbled a lot with my very first few times, repeating words, getting caught up, etc. I then had a conversation with somebody (who didn't buy, but where kind nonetheless) who made me realize I was acting like a door-to-door salesman when I shouldn't appear like one (Giving out full name, coming on too strong). It became more of a conversation that steered toward a sale rather than a straight up question towards the end (although I did not get any sales). Door after door wouldn't answer however, and I could really only get in 10 people who would even open the door enough for me to see them. Honestly the anticipation is worse than anything, I almost like it.

Does anybody have any tips on advertising/broadcasting yourself?
