General Forum Updates... What's New?

I also like the new look. It reminds me of the older/original version of the forum.

This is the forum under the native style, out of the box. IMO, it looks ancient.

Nonetheless, I will keep this format as a style so people who like it, can keep it.

That's Dark Mode, which every style will have available. (Bottom left corner to set your preference). That's one thing that newer upgrade has, only 7 years late!

I hope we get an option for the old style (or something similar to that). Really not a fan of how to forum looks right now.

I'm neutral. I'll just adapt to new interfaces. I can't even remember what the old one looked like.

This is where I’m at. Just some uncanny valley going on, and can’t remember how it used to be. I just now tried the drop down selector and prefer “illuminate” because it makes the quoted text more subtle, and then it’s less visually busy when I’m skimming.

Yeah, the previous layout had a nice font size at the top and great spacing. I was just mentioning this since I know this is a default view and you are working on a new modern skin. I can't imagine this would stay this way.

Keep it (at least as an option!) It may look old but I'd say it's more familiar and intuitive

I believe it means new posts since your last viewing. Non bold assumes you've read the latest post.

How do you bookmark a thread?

My subscription page thinks it's included. Just haven't found a magic button or link anywhere visible.

Summarizing / Grouping notifications

I accidentally figured out that double clicking the message bell shows a complete of past notices. Very handy.

Shoot, never mind. There's a little flag on the top of the post. That's the good news.

The bad news is after bookmarking, it doesn't continue to show as flagged with a gold background. The screenshot comes from a thread that was previously bookmarked. That makes it difficult to remember that the thread has already been bookmarked since there's no visual indicator.
