Can't wait to see more content on your website. Sounds like great information, thanks in advance !

I could see everything perfectly, by the way.

Thanks!

Anyone having an issue when you click on the twitter symbols on the site? Someone mentioned it was opening different browsers up, but I can't re-create the issue they're having.

I have Firefox. When I click the Twitter link it opens another window, with only the address bar. Facebook works fine. Here is a screen shot.

My new post is up. Anything you guys could do to help share this on any forums you participate in, or blogs, Facebook, twitter, etc... would be hugely appreciated. I started the blog without people really knowing who I am at all, so it's all grassroots whether it gets in front of people or not. Thanks guys, loved seeing so many fastlane guys in the comments of the first post:

Blog is great. I think you'll need a more professional theme though if you want to run with the big dogs. Its mostly the green color that isn't doing it for me, but I the FJ reminds me of FootJoy. At some point spending $1k on a pro custom theme will be worth it.

I did spend $1k+ on a custom theme :)

Does the color distract from the reading/make readability hard?

I would have to agree with Jonleehacker on the green color. It might work better though if you added a very subtle background image to it all though - to off-balance it. I have some subtle linen-style (tile-able) backgrounds if you're interested.

If not, making the green a bit darker would also work.
Comment posted on the blog btw. ;)

ooops, sorry dude.

No, the actual layout is fine and it's not hard to read. If I had to suggest 2 changes - 1 would be to change the color of green and 2 would be to add some background panels that are not white to sections of the site to divide them. Like the header, then the overall background around the actual story area. If you distinguished these two areas I think it would be make the design sparkle a little more.

Thanks. We plan on playing around and testing both these to see how we like them

Great blog snowbank.

I'd also turn the green a bit darker, you might try #1B4A38 with #386A51 as hover.
You might also try to squeeze the line-height down a bit from 2 to 1.6 on the p-tags so that the paragraphs does not flow together.

Keep the good posts up, I look forward to the read.
