There is a reason why the most influential people in history
are also the best communicators.

They are able, through their words, to tap into people's
minds and make them feel powerful emotions.

It's not talent, it's not IQ.

It's something that can be trained, something everyone
can learn, except for AI.

What do you think it is?

The leaders also walk the walk.

Being articulate itself alone is not a high entry bar

AI writes garbage, but masses like the garbage.

People don't want to read elaborate writing. Sadly they want cliffnotes of things.. like summaries, ELI5 ...and AI happens to excel at that. It's the "processed food" fo the Internet.

Garbage In => Garbage Out.

Most people. Then there are individuals that like and enjoy reading in-depth content.

The Dead Internet Theory is closer to reality than we think: most of the stuff we read is dead and re-hashed from already existing "content" that was taken from other content. SEO (prior to AI) was this: re-writing existing information to rank.

That's the front page and it's going to get worse.

The most influential people know how to grab attention and direct it from one thing to another. Do we consider this "communication"? Maybe.

The number #1 reason why its output is bad is that it can't make good decisions.

It can't decide what hooks to use, what emotions to tap into, or what tone will resonate with your audience. There are way too many "human variables", so the chances it'll make the right combination of choices is minuscule.

With that said - AI writes garbage only if the prompts are weak...

... which they mostly are because there are thousands of decisions writers make subconsciously.

Like whether to use "thousand" vs. "1000" and so forth. Prompting can be even more complicated than writing. You not only need to know "how" to write - you have to account for "why" you write what you write.

The more decisions you can make for AI the better the output will be.

It is a tool, not a writer.
