And I have news for some people here. Most wealthy people below the age of 40 are not the first generations wealth creator. This doesnt mean that they did nothing commendable. This is a fact of life. Trump is a third generation property developer. Trump is a capable person too. They also win in charisma and behavior. Having not to worry about money since young gives you the ability to develop the charisma that average dudes wont have a chance.

Basically these rich descendants will either develop personalities like
-Charismatic assholes like trump who is like able in many aspects. (Ya I know some would hate him).
-Charismatic prince who knows literature, music, wine and art. These are the socially acceptable “perfect gentleman”.
You are 100% right. I remember of a scene from the show Avatar, where the princess overthrows a general and also steals his own little military simply by showing more power than him.

This is the quote: "I can see your whole history in your eyes. You were born with nothing. So you've had to struggle and connive and claw your way to power. But true power, the divine right to rule, is something you're born with. The truth is: they don't know which one of us is going to be sitting down on that throne, and which of us is going to be bowing down. But I know, and you know."

So I think what you said make so much sense, rich people just have that authority and charisma and self-assurance whereas poor have to prove themselves, and when they meet someone born like that, they don't even have a chance.

I don’t think you get my point in the way I want to put it in the context of my reply.

A lot of time being charismatic (as accepted by the mainstream society) is developing a lot of interesting skill sets that have no immediate financial goal. And the ability to live and talk a life as if money didn't matter too much is actually to have lots of money.

A hardworking dude working a 8-5 minimum wage job running a side hustle at night for a fastlane project has no interest, time or resources in develop a vast array of knowledge in literature, politics, golf and French wine.

You know.. this is a great idea for a thread.. but a lot of the suggestions are pretty vague. Like stuff you see on those motivational posters in offices. It's not bad advice by and stretch, but I think more specific stuff would be more useful. Or at least give some background to the lessons.

Social media creates a vast information/knowledge gap where the producer's highlights were used against the viewer's low lights. In this fight, the viewer has no way to win, even if he or she tries. Anyone who won anything at life will know that it is your strength in life that wins not your weakness/low lights. But this is smart on their part because one sure fire way to win anything is to make sure what I am going against is other people's weak points.

I believe that the little guy can win when he goes against the big guy. It's like the concept of David & Goliath. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Great points you're making here seriously. But what if you're more of a producer on social media than the viewer, consumer?

Your first comment was what got me. You see, I have deleted my accounts more than 12 times since earlier last year.

Why?

I'm always distracted, sometimes unhappy and overwhelmed when I log in there.

Sometimes I even start to beat myself up, doubt my abilities or start comparing myself to others.

So, I get my accounts deleted for a while lol then I'll create some more and get started with using it again (especially Facebook)

I have just been doing delete and create new all this while.

Here's another thing, our people here use Facebook more than any other thing you can think off.

They use it more than they use email or any other thing.

So, if I delete my account how do I get to know what's happening out there huh?

I start to learn all this when I started to learn how dotcoms actually run their marketing department.

Work to improve yourself so that your bad days get better.

Example:

I spent the greater part of my late teens and early twenties racking up debt. On my worst days, I had to skip a meal or miss my rent because I had run my credit cards up to the limit and had negative one hundred dollars in my checking account. One day I decided I was tired of living that way and made the decision to pay all of my debt off and build wealth rather than go into the negative for weekends out with my friends and crap. It took three long and tough years of reading finance books, not going out three nights a week, and putting all of my surplus toward debt. It sucked. I stuck with it and finally paid everything off. Fast forward a few years later and I have money invested and saved. Every time I calculate my net worth it's much higher than it was the year before. Looking back that journey was worth every moment of suffering.

Now, that was only one step in a larger journey to becoming extremely wealthy, but my problems now are much better than they were when I spent recklessly. In fact, my best days back then couldn't even compete with my bad days now. Every day I am working toward something whether it's improving my fitness, wealth, relationships, or business, and every day my bad days get better.

Why do you need to know "what's happening out there?"

I view my ignorance of "what's happening out there" as an asset, not a liability. Most of it is a subconscious brainwashing operation of some sort, whether you're watching the corporate media, or Netflix.

If I could share one life lesson it would be expressed by the following quote by the legend Jim Rohn.

“Start from wherever you are and with whatever you’ve got.”
- Jim Rohn

Don’t put your dreams off any longer. Small actions taken now each and every day will yield extraordinary results.

Delete social media, Netflix, and games.

If you think playing games is good for you, think again. Do you feel proud that you have spent over 4000 hours on a single game? I have and I F*cking hate it.

"The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle.

I'm a still a newbie with much of this but my life lesson would be: You cannot change your life without changing your daily habits and routine.

Don’t get high off your own supply.

Sounds like you’re more of a consumer than a producer.

All religions and mythologies are tools to help you thrive in life. For example, greek mythology - all the gods and characters there are as portraits of the human inner world. Study it not to worship gods, but to better understand yourself and the world around you. Be careful when someone tries to take leadership of any religion - this is an attempt to control the souls of others, and it is perilous for healthy life on earth.

Maybe how do I start to produce more?
I don't understand. You said that you use it for business. Then you said that you are on it too long. How exactly are you using it for business?

Probably gratitude for having friendships and relationships. I had a lot of friends when I was 16-23 and didn't really care, for the last decade I've had very little friendships due to working on my self and I miss them, unfortunatly friendships now aren't what they were before the iPhone 3G came out.
