Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a great day. So I have been running a Youtube channel in the men's advice niche for about 6 months. I have 5,000 subs and get about 2,000 views per day. I want to monetize my audience somehow but 1) I'm not sure quite how yet (thinking about writing an e-book and selling it for $15-20) and 2) Is it time to monetize my audience or to keep pumping out free content with the hopes of growing my audience. Gary Vaynerchuck says to "eat dirt" for two years before even thinking about selling products. What are your thoughts?

Lots of options:

- turn on ads
- make a product
- get sponsorship
- promote / use affiliate products

Do you see something you could offer your audience would buy?

I’d look at what the more successful channels in your niche are doing and that.

I agree with this 100%. I have ads on but that is more of a tip jar than anything. Considering making a product but don't think the audience is big enough yet. Good advice though for sure. Thank you
