Hello guys,

today I'd like to ask if some of you have recommendations for great books about copywriting & marketing.

I own a complementary business (in parallel of a slowlane f*cking daily job), I made my website text by my own but I don't really know about theses subjects.

Any advices ?

Thx in advance !

Check out @SinisterLex and his threads for copywriting.

For website copy, I presume the purpose is to convert visitors into signups, enquirers/leads, or customers? You might want to check out this thread as I (personally) don't think it's as much about "copy" as you likely believe:

One of my favourite marketing books is "80/20 Sales and Marketing".

This is a little broad.
Do you want to know copywriting for sales or for a content funnel?
And for marketing, are you marketing towards a B2B or a B2C? It DOES make a difference.

So going wide here, great books? Yes.
Great websites? Yes.

For copywriting, I suggest Ramit Sethi, Neville Medora, and Ash Ambirge - though what's the end game?
More sales, email signups, appointments set, etc.?

Same question, and statement, for marketing.
I would say, WATCH what Ramit Sethi, Gary Vaynerchuk, Ryan Holiday, Tim Ferriss - DO. Those guys market themselves so well.
Hell, some of them just say it out loud in HOW they do it.

Note: With Ryan, also check out "Trust Me, I'm Lying" - it will open your eyes to a LOT of marketing practices.

Two books that I suggested in other comments, and I'll say it again - "Up from Slavery" by Booker T. Washington & "The Obstacle is the Way" by Ryan Holiday.
Those two books alone, should get your head right.
And then....make you feel lazy as hell, so you'll want to get to work RIGHT AFTER finishing the books. Read Ryan first, then Booker. Trust me on this.

Ca$hvertising is what I recommend for copy basics. Lots of good marketing insights there also.
