(won't get one for a while tho-- one of our innkeepers is about to become a daddy, and is taking his CA-endorsed paternity leave, and another innkeeper is going on vacation at the same time.)

(means Russ and Sharon will be going back to being innkeepers for a bit!)

I'll be taking some pix in the coming weeks, once we're finished. The wine cellar (seats 30+) is amazing.

Hmmm. I doubt my little cavalier could make that trip ;-). 2011 B&P Count me in. For me it will be mostly "P" i'll finally be 18 and ready to go. By then i should have my business up and growing. *fingers-crossed*.

The answer is yes.

We do meet to share information, build relationships, share strategies, play CashFlow, have a lot of laughs, enjoy the company of great, like minded people, eat good food, launch mastermind groups, etc. The official date is listed on the first post. Many of us will arrive a day or two early and stay a day or so late just to spend some more time together. It can be a life changing experience. It is well worth your time.:fastlane:

The schedule includes leisurely introductions as people arrive as early as 2-3 days before the official event. Networking and building contacts and resources is huge.

The event features presentations from members and guest speakers encompassing a wide array of topics. New attendees can present as well. The attitude of "everyone has something worth sharing" from this forum carries ove and is applied the entire time.

Meals are typically your responsibility (breakfast is included with your hotel reservation, lunches are part of the event package price) Past events had the dinner/supper coordinated by the locals ahead of time to accommodate large group for whoever wants to continue with the group, we all chip in our share to cover costs. Chinese on one event night and Sushi before the event starts seems to have become regular. It does not stop after dinner. Cashflow games, networking by the pool or choices of areas out on the town have all occurred.

This IS an event NOT TO MISS!

It will motivate you! It will get you focused. It will teach you things you need to know and catapult you in your growth. Plus it is fun.

Get there if you can.

Once i get off of work today i will purchase my ticket, just to make sure all I have to do is purchase the ticket correct?? flight and meals are my responsibility. Where can i find information regarding hotel, where to meet, times and so forth?

Usually the hotel is figured out early January. The meeting times and other details will be finalized a month or so before the event. People have already begun making agreements on what day they will arrive and leave so the airline reservations can be made. Last year the official event lasted from about 9:00am Friday until Sunday around 3:00(I think). People actually began arriving on Wed. and I think most had left by Monday evening.

What hotel is everyone staying at?? also is it advised to get a rental car?? I didnt know if everyone grouped up and got a car or what the plan was. Either way is cool with me.

Hotel to be determined in January.
You won't need to rent a car unless you just want to.

Most things are within walking distance from the venue for other activities and if not, rides are arranged between locals, drive ins and others that rented cars just because. As it gets closer we arrange airport pickups if needed.

Thank you for responding. I thought the info needed to make arrangements would have already been provided seeing as the earlier you book a flight and hotel the more one would save. What is your approach in this matter? Make flight arrangements then hotel arrangements down the road?

Yup. Get the flight into PHX and worry about the rest later. We usually have a block of rooms set aside for us. We have a committee that handles it. They will post here as it gets closer.

We know the dates (see first post). We are planning on arriving the 17th or 18th and departing on the 22nd.

I will make the long road trip to the event. I will talk to Biophase about planning it out together. I am willing to lead the venue planning committee this year and negotiate some killer deals for us.

I will also see about setting up some evening activities. For those of you who have never experienced Scottsdale nightlife, this will be an eye-opener.:urock2:

Still on the fence as to whether we're going or not with the wedding, honeymoon(2 weeks in the Canary Islands ) and big move coming up in the Summer which also means we'd have to fly in on Fri night and leave by Sun evening at the latest(as we'll have no vacation/personal time).

However, we're definitely down to help for B&P '11 as we'll be locals

And oh yea, for anyone else on the fence, if you have the vacation/personal time available I'd strongly recommend it, last yr's event was a blast!
