Question for anyone else on a super strict diet (need help!)

I haven't "cheated" in over a year and have basically developed a fear to any kind of cheating, or even a desire to cheat. 100% of my meals have been perfect.

My motivation for doing this is not just physical performance, but mental performance more importantly. Basically I feel like if I have a cheat meal I'll fall off my ability to focus for 8-12 hours a day and train hard for a few days.

I'm also deathly scared of falling back into a bad eating habit that used to have tired by 1:00 pm every day.

Some sources are saying that cheat meals have benefits but don't really know who to believe so I'm wondering if anyone's had any experiences with this?

How have cheat meals affected you?
I used to eat a strict carnivore diet for 18 months during which I did not cheat even once.

Here's my answer to your question: it depends on your diet, and what you cheat it on with.

If you're on keto/carnivore and eat sugar, you'll also want to play video games, gossip, drink alcohol, etc. So I would "cheat" on your diet with something that's also low sugar, like low-carb vegetables. Don't go eat bread....

Unhealthiness calls unhealthiness.

If you're on a vegetarian or vegan diet...then cheating with meat won't have a big impact.

Just a friendly reminder that politicians have never been the authority on what is and isn’t a good, noble, or moral thing. The feds that administered the poison thought they were “the good guys” because of their brainwashing.

Can you guys help me out with my own future guide?
I need to find a title and I wanted to hear your guys' opinions.
I don't wanna reveal too much but just imagine that you can do everything with that guide.
Depressed? You'll get a solution. Stuck in your business? You'll get unstuck. Scared to try knocking on peoples' doors? You can train and rehearse that without any consequences.

I've been working on it intensively for the past 3 months and had been experimenting with it occasionally in the past few years as well.
Which of these titles do you find intriguing?

Are you depressed, lonely, unsuccesful or in a rut? This might change your life forever
How to do and try everything without any
limitations. You can even speak to MJ DeMarco!
No advice helps you? The advice that only yourself can answer for you

What do you think? I sadly couldn't find the poll option. Your own ideas are very appreciated btw!

Have a great day!

The only unfair advantage you got is to talk from personal experience. None of the generic above titles interest me. Link it to yourself, something we can relate to.

One of the things that’s tough for me sometimes is remembering, despite what opposing sides keeps saying, that most politicians aren’t actually evil. They really think they’re doing the right thing.

The best title meets people where they're at.

If they Googled for "how to stop being depressed" then a good title to start with is "How to stop being depressed."

If they were scrolling Facebook and saw your content/ad that promised to help them "Get unstuck" then having that as the headline on the landing page would be a good start.

So ask yourself, how and why will visitors get to your offer, and what headline would convince them to keep reading?

This is so funny.

Frosted mini wheats coming in at #3.

The propaganda these days isn’t even trying to make sense.
Insane.

It's so obvious also how they're pushing meat as bad, when it should be top 3 (#1 in my opinion) probably because they want everybody to consume the fake "beyond burgers" which are terribly bad. Either the beyond meat profits are insane or they're single-handedly trying to kill people slowly for some kind of population control.

I want the supersize me guy to do a year on the government food pyramid, exactly as it says, just to show what it does to a person.

Imagine being someone that seeks out government recommendations on what to eat…

This is absolutely insane. As someone who reads the nutrition profile of nearly every packaged food (just for fun), Honey Nut cheerios (which was a childhood staple of mine) will never be fed to my kids. It is like 35% sugar by weight. They can have plain cheerios with some honey added on top if I feel like making it sweeter (which I don't). The funny thing is, the less sugar you eat the less you need, and the sweeter normal foods taste. Now imagine being a child who has next to no sugar exposure eating the same levels of sugar as an adult who has been eating that crap all their life. It blows my mind.

I like that "chocolate covered almonds" made the list to eat more of, but regular nuts didn't make the list. Yup, gotta cover nuts with chocolate to make them edible.

Egg substitute fried in vegetable oil is somehow better for you thank a boiled or poached egg???? On what universe????? Also cooking it in some butter makes it somewhere around the "instant death" category? WTF? Skinless chicken breast is also bad? Oh yea, I forgot humans have not evolved into omnivores, eating meat is an abomination that must be stopped at all cost.

That chart is absolutely insane. I hope that not a single person on the planet looks at that and thinks it is based on anything even close to fact.

Remember folks, eat your Lucky Charms for breakfast and make damn sure you stay away from a whole egg fried in butter with a little cheddar cheese on top.

Metaverse looks like shit right now. But as more people join, you’ll get better code, assets, and ideas. And obviously technology is always changing so don’t count on an absolute flop.

I have changed my mind. I actually want to voice my full support for the new “food pyramid.” I’m 100% serious.

The type of person that goes to “my plate” to ask the government choose their foods for them needs to eat all the lucky charms and synthetic eggs in vegetable oil their food stamps will buy them.

Noticed CANVA has incorporated an AI generator in its interface.

My first few uses of it yielded dismal, unusuable results, even for simple queries.

Does anyone here knows how to get wide lats without access to a cable machine/lat-pulldown machine?

My usual routine to train lats is 1 set of 23 pullups, 3 times a week (going down elbows locked and up again). Been doing this for 5 years. Strangely, the pullups doesn't seem to increase my lat width.

I could have high lat origin/insertion points which results in less visible lats. Or it could be poor genetics. Besides the pull-up bar, I also have access to an ez-curl bar with plates.

I think the problem is you're doing 23 pullups each time meanwhile if you've progressively overloaded to 100 pull ups in that one set over the last 5 years you'd see much better results

Pullups will get you 90% of the way there.

Try and add some weight (put shit in a backpack or weighted belt) so you can only do between 5-12 pullups per set. 1x23 3x a week isnt going to stimulate much growth.

(assuming you only have access to a pullup bar)

I would do 3(sets)x5-10(reps) 3x/week. When you hit 10 reps up the weight... and repeat.

I was shopping for an online backup solution after getting paranoid someone could simply enter my home and steal my backups, but they were all too expensive because I have TB's of data. Another issue with online backups is that they are a recurring cost, and I am trying to minimize recurring costs. I realized I could just make some encrypted backups, and store them in my car, which is what I will do.

In the spirit of saving money, I see DHH at Basecamp has elaborated on their move away from the Cloud. They reduced their Cloud costs as much as possible, and their bill was still $3.2M. He's going to give an update at the end of 2024 to document how much money they saved by using their own servers.

NASA paid Oracle $15M to avoid a software-license audit. An outside auditor told Oracle they wasted $35M on overpayments and penalties, over the last few years.

If we go in to a deep Recession, I expect a lot more of these stories. Companies looking at where all their money is going, and being shocked at how much they've wasted. The Cloud is often touted as a way to save money, but that seems to be where a lot of companies are getting hammered. I've read where AWS has forgiven small developers who made a mistake, and racked up an enormous AWS bill, I assume they are less forgiving with companies. It will be interesting to see if the belt-tightening is good or bad for Cloud providers.

I don t like Tesla, because
- the finish often is bad, the standarts of qualitity of other car manufacturers is often not reached
- though Musk does very convinced of the development, in reality its a quite cheap developed car with a very with a beautiful exterior
- eg the systems for autopilot at high quality car brands take information from several sources : optic, radar, some others( which just don t come into my mind, the courses I had about that and accidents with autopilot cars has been a long while ago, which means, maybe my infos aren t actuel, too), Tesla only uses optic mainly, what leaded to deadly accidents.
- in the job I do, I don t have contact with Teslas very often, but if, I see broken chassis parts and similar.

Thats the negative part.

On the positive side, Tesla is consequently developed as an electric car, has a good driving performance and a nice design. No matter which one.
The range is most likely sufficient for 95 % of the trips you will make.
The noise will be very low up to 55 mph, what is a big argument , if you tend to Tinnitus.

With the said in mind, I m sure you will be happy with a Tesla. Buy and enjoy!
My brother has one. He thinks the autopilot is sketchy. I was just in it a few minutes ago and the autopilot got confused twice during a 20 minute drive and shut off. Once on a right turn on red and again inside a parking lot.

He has a X plaid, and wishes he would have just bought a Mercedes suv at half the price.

Interesting

I think AWS was always just intended for startups to get going quickly without having to invest in all the infrastructure, so it would make sense that once companies get big it would stop making sense.

Someone could probably build a massive company doing consulting or doing contract to actually migrate big companies away from aws into their own infrastructure once they get to a certain size.

It’s like a selling $100 bills for $5 offer if they can make the infrastructure better and cheaper than aws.

Thanks, will try this! This is the sort of width I'm aiming for, maybe not as wide, but 3/4 or 1/2 of this would be amazing.
