Depends entirely on your skillset as well as your starting capital.

But a better question would be: what problem can I solve in 180 days and how well can I sell the solution to the market?

What do you do and why?

My free business idea:

Here at a local supermarket they had some simple x-mas decoration, just some simple wood pieces. They sold them for quiet some money about 20$ for a small piece of wood. My dad, thought, well I can do those myself, and he did. Friends loved them. It would be easy to sell them online... So here you go, x-mas is soon.

I presume you mean if I was to start a brand new business with no network and no skills?

What:

I'd provide a recurring service to businesses who serve a portfolio of businesses.

Why:

Why a service business? Low overheads. Can start immediately (even before you become an expert). It's based on my ability to sell and fulfil, and my personal brand (and we all have personal brands).

Why to businesses? They're more likely to have an ROI mindset and bigger budget. Also, if I wanted to get better at business then dealing with business owners day-in-day-out will help.

Why to businesses serving other businesses? They can bring a stack of clients in one go.

The maths:

100,000/year is 8,333/mth.

Which is 17x 500/mth clients
... or 9x 1,000/mth clients.
... or likely some mix.

How to start:

I'd start by letting people know I'm providing that service. Get one free client. Get success. Talk about it. Write about it. Get a paid client or two. Take it from there.

Consider "Who already has your clients?" (Jay Abraham)

I currently provide a Google Ads service. Marketing agencies who help dozens of clients in one industry can bring me 10 clients in one go.

This is such a methodical and well-structured answer. Additionally, "maths"? I see a fellow countryman.

To contribute an answer myself:

The time limit imposes a strict balance between:

Planning for a strategic advantage and

Taking fast action (operation).

The business that is closest to one's current skillset. Maximum yield with minimal repositioning, training, etc.

The niche will depend on the business.

a 6 figure business valuation?

That means you only need to make like 40k in profit in a year for a business to be worth 6 figures.

Which means it needs to make 3400 a month or $158 a day for the 21 work week days of the month.

LMAO 158 a day easy peasy japanesey

Yes, this is precisely what I was looking for, I love this reply!
But just so that I understand, do you provide marketing to marketing agencies? If so, why google ads, do you prefer it over other ad platforms?

We provide marketing for businesses. A lot of those businesses are clients to agencies, so those agencies whitelabel us to do the Google Ads part.

I like Google Ads paid search in particular. It's simple to undertand and, when dialed in, can work for years untouched.

Google Ads also includes the Display Network and YouTube, which are massive too.

I have built many 6-figure businesses in 180 days, but I will not share my secrets here. If you join my program for $9999, you will learn what these guys do not want you to know.

Offering your service for free to get referrals and a testimonial is a great idea. It could be a good start for any business.

Cool, I like it!

What are your thoughts on people saying that marketing agencies are over-saturated today? You have lots of experience in the industry so I suppose it doesn't apply to you in the same way.
But you don't think it's too saturated for newbies?

More businesses now realise they need or can make sales online, especially since Covid.

So there's more businesses that may want to hire experts, and maybe a bigger need for specialists since there's now more competition online.

Plus, platforms and strategies pop up, die, and change so fast it's hard enough for specialists to keep up, never mind the business owners.

Don't worry about whether it's saturated or not. Find someone you can help, help them, get paid, scale or pivot.
