My avatar means it's me on the photo. I noticed not many people place their own pictures here
It seems that many want to protect their identity. :)

Mine is simply the wife and I enjoying a nice leisure day.

The scene in my avatar reminds me to not listen when everyone says it simply can't be done. Of course it can ;)

My best memories and experiences were shared with my friends and family. Freedom of time and worry about money will allow me to spend more time doing what I love with my favorite people.

Tyler Durden. Character from the book / film Fight Club. If you didn't see it, you definitely should do it. It's really inspiring (whereas it doesn't really congruents with the Fastlane).

Favourite movie dude. Mine means F*ck the world lol.

Although I'm a car guy I chose an F-16 Fighting Falcon firing a missile, because I think it suits my Nickname better. I always loved the F-16 because for me it was always the one plane I imagined when I thought fighter jet in general. The first diecast I ever built was an F-16. It's able to operate at high speeds (Fastlane) and flying represents the ultimate freedom for me. It's also able to carry heat seeking missiles, that will persue the enemy planes engine as I like to seek out knowledge and to persue my goals. Plus I like the way it looks...

I have no real knowledge of Warren Buffet and don't really know of him well enough to "idolise him". I chose it simply because it sums up what I am working for at the minute, it's not about how much I make, how many cars I buy or anything like that, at the minute it's all about creating a system that makes money whilst I sleep with my time as detached as possible (I couldn't detach fully, I enjoy it too much! - Those that can afford to stop working are usually the ones who don't want to stop working!)

I'm more than half way to paying my current lifestyle cost via my businesses which are day-to-day managed by others. Seeing my avatar keeps me focused. I will change it when I need to change my focus.

Turning hydrocarbons into fun last summer on one of my favorite bikes I've ever owned.

My nick is to remind me I tend to bounce idea to idea (and also happens to be the name of a band I like).

some birds I photographed while taking a walk to clear my head. Birds have always been a symbol of freedom to me, so I took it as a sign ;)

That is a beautiful pic, nicely done.

The camel that walks the desert alone.

Preparing to take the heavy burdens of myself when they arrive.

To carry them on until the camel can no longer bear the weight.

Or something like that.

My current avatar is a picture I took in November 2015 of Carhendge in Alliance Nebraska. To me it shows how doing something different and weird can still be beautiful.

As a car guy I was horrified when I first heard of Carhendge, I mean how dare anyone do this with classic cars. So I had to go see it for myself. After seeing it in person, walking around these old cars placed exactly like the stones in the real Stonehendge, it's actually really cool, especially at sunset. Even she who couldn't take the cold wind thought it was well worth the detour we took to go see this creation.

My first car that I had to perform a lot of self-repairs on after I first got it - but is a total beast. :)

It means a lot to me, because, well, it's the result of independence from an abusive father. 100% self-earned (technically).

Reminds me of a lot of things that I rather not discuss here as well... But it surely isn't just the photograph of a car for me.

The view from in front of the restaurant in Himeji (Japan) where I got married. Actually we got married twice, 1st in the UK and then in Japan, because we both had grannies that couldn't travel far.

Bike trip to the South of France.

7 bikes, and one yellow mini (long story).

There wasn't a single day where someone didn't get lost.

This particular day there were the three of us on red bikes together, hence my nod to the Henry Ford quote about the Model T.

I loved bike trips.

I like travelling fast, and light - with a toothbrush, credit card, and couple of changes of clothes.

Take a map, pick a direction, go.

With bike trips, the journey IS the trip, not arriving at some destination.

With bike trips, the fun is in the squiggly bits on the map, not the straight lines.

With bike trips, the adventures are made of the things that happen between whatever you've got planned.

It's all about the story you create, the places you've been, and the people you've met.

It's about freedom, from traffic jams, and following the masses.

Damn, but I've just made myself really miss bikes...
