To make it short, I am a full time web designer with 6 years of experience (decent skill level).
My goal is to hit $5K/month within the next 2 years.
My best month ever was $3,5K where 3K was from a single Upwork project.
Lately I have been struggling getting clients on Upwork even though I am sending personalized loom videos to each proposal. (Currently doing $1K/month, no new clients tho since 2 months).
1st problem: I am focusing on learning business skills (sales, marketing...), but I've been told from more successful designer I am not on top of my game in my field (meaning I am decent at design, but not great).
Some recent work so you can get an idea (I did both design & development): 1. Rumo Corporation 2. Conference Audio Visual & Event Production Services 3. HVAC & AC Repair Jacksonville, FL - 24/7 Eemergency Response
2nd problem: I don't know if my websites improved my clients businesses besides making them look way more professional.
