I stopped in the middle of the road today as I seen a family of ducks trying to pass to the pond.

A mother and like 5 babies.

If I didn't stop I would have hit them.

I get out of the car, and make sure they have passed my car before i keep driving, and the a**hole behind me beeps his horn and says wtf are you doing?

I said, bro you need to chill out I'm letting these ducks pass it will take like less than a minute.

He said, "FFS, you are blocking all the traffic!

Me "if I see you passing my car next time I'll be sure to hit you, message received!"

I refuse to believe most people are as much of a prick as this guy is.

Some luxury stuff probably can count as investment, doesn't change that 90% of that stuff is just to show-off...
I have a friend who dropped like 5 grand on hunting binoculars and I still don't understand what are you paying for when you're past 1k for those. Same story with everything else "luxury" pretty much imo = you can get something very similar for fraction of the price

What difference has this made?

It has significantly helped my back issues. There is nothing firmer than a floor, and the 3" foam is just enough to make it comfortable. I feel like getting up and down from the floor helps me stay limber as well.

Wife: [Furrows brow] -- "That sounds like I'm in a public restroom and a woman in the stall is peeing."

Needless to say, I boxed it up and returned it.

Went to the Mexican fast food near me today

Best business I love it

It’s healthy, fast, cheap and delicious. Maybe not that healthy but you don’t feel bad for eating it. There’s literally no objection not to go there.

Anyway, today they’ve added a nacho sundae. Genius.

They didn’t really have any desert before just sundaes and churros.

It’s $6.50.

It’s chips, sauce and soft serve. Literally the 3 cheapest things they have to make.

It’s shareable, it’s so ridiculous people would post a photo of it.

Good upsell, makes you happy.

So it got me thinking. What’s an upsell like this you could add to your business?

One that costs almost nothing because you already have all the ingredients.

One that the customer is actually delighted to accept.

Currently my ecommerce store I’ll upsell more of the same at a discount, it’s performed better than anything else, but I still don’t like it, some people complain they just bought the product and now your offering it cheaper. It cheapens the experience.

Something they’d be delighted to see and accept would be much better.

I think this train of thought is perfect for service businesses because you already have the staff.

Sorry for the absolute yap about almost nothing but I guess that’s what the thread is for.

Just logging in to strongly encourage everyone to have at least two backups of all of their data.

I'm saying this because I've just lost two years of work because Mailer Lite closed my account and deleted all of my data. Lost hundreds of subscribers and all of my integrations and workflows.

Sorry for the absolute yap about almost nothing but I guess that’s what the thread is for.

I was amazed at the good response I got for giving some of my commercial cleaning clients a free $10 dish rack and a dish brush that can be filled with detergent, and a new toilet brush. Definitely helped with their Jan 1st price rise being accepted and as a bonus they are keeping things a lot tidier making it easier for cleaners to get through the kitchen quicker lol.
Not really an upsell I suppose but that goodwill from only 10 or 20 bucks helped me push through a 30% increase on their 2nd year.

I wrote them and they were kind enough to reactivate my old account for migration.

Upon investigating what I had done wrong, I realized their explanation of migration was false.

Migration happening. Work was not lost eventually. Thank god.
