All Google workspace users will get storage upsized from 15 GB to 1 TB.

I love Google and everything from them.
Android, Chrome, YouTube, GSuite (drive and docs/sheets/slides...). Everything. Google is the second coming of Jesus.

Ford is starting to remind me of someone with an external locus that always “gets caught in traffic.”

“It’s not our fault, I promise.”

Yes. It is.

Somehow Jeep, Ram, GM, Toyota are all getting new models out.

Side note: Every time someone says “omg it’s horrible traffic,” I ask where, and I look it up on Google maps. 99% of the time they are full of shit.

We’ve had this order in since March.

Ford needs Jocko Willink as the CEO. Someone needs to take responsibility over there.

Haha. You think this is bad. At least there is legitimate issue with supply chain.

When I ordered my RR, I picked an option that required the vehicle to go to a different factory (from what I later learned) and because of that, somehow Land Rover as a company managed to lose my car for 2 months! My dealer had no clue where it was, no one in the UK knew... they were all "looking for it". Caused a big delay in my delivery.

Don't ya love that, no matter what's going on in the retail real estate market, notice how every commercial always says, "Now's the best time to buy a house!"

A few years ago it was, "It's the best time to get in the market with interest rates this low!"
Now it's "It's the best time to get in the market with less buyers looking!"

In 2005 they were saying the same thing and just change the reason why.

If you listen to these people, every day is the "best time" to a buy house, doesn't matter what interest rates are, doesn't matter about supply, doesn't matter about demand, and it doesn't matter about the economy. Now is the best time!

I have never met a realtor that isn’t the “top producer” either.

Have you ever met a realtor that told you they were the 8th or 30th best in the city? No, every single one of them is “the best.”

Best also means absolutely nothing because what they provide is a commodity. A listing is nothing more than a gift of tens of thousands of dollars.

...for you to pay me a hefty commission! What's that? Oh no, don't worry about rising real estate taxes, insurance, utilities, interest rates or any of that nonsense. You can figure out the details later! After all, it's always the right time to buy a nice house in a great neighborhood! (TM)

Real estate agents make up excuses about everything. I recently went to look at a very expensive 8 figure house for shits and giggles.

The house was pretty nice but the master bedroom was very small in comparison to the rest of the house. When I mentioned it to the real estate agent she said, I’d rather live in this house with this smaller master bedroom than the house I am living in now.

No shit. I’m sure you aren’t living in a $20M house. What does that have to do with how small THIS bedroom is.

But to be fair, the real estate agents I’ve used are all pretty honest with me. I think that’s why I picked them.

It’s always the selling agent at the showings that say the dumbest things. We literally walked a house last week where they were asking 2.4 and the realtor says to us I can get them to take 2.2. WTF she just gave up $200k for her clients in the first five minutes.

It's not just Ford obviously. I got a sneak peek at the stuff going on behind the scenes with a big german manufacturer starting with B, 6 to 8 months is child's play haha. Although I did once have a woman say the war in Ukraine shouldn't affect them because the war is not in Germany so she should get her car RIGHT NOW lol.

The German manufacturers are in big trouble, there was so much stuff coming from that area, wire looms for example.

Made me actually cringe when I saw this story about a bunch of new bimmers on a transport train getting sliced up by an overhead line that fell or something. Imagine getting that email aftrr waiting over a year for your new car!

And the best time to start a business? Now.

Yes, because anytime is the best time to take responsibility for one's life and escape slavery.

I've heard that coffee is healthy in short-term and long-term.
What do you guys think about it?
I might get into drinking coffee depending on your answers haha

Coffee has always disrupted my sleeping patterns, and because I sleep weird when I drink some it affects the next day’s bedtime and the day after that. I’ve seen many people who “need” their morning coffee to function and it’s just sad that they don’t remember their lives before caffeine.

IMO, coffee should be drank for pleasure, not for utility. You do you though.

I don’t know statistics, but my experience:
I drink 2-4 cups every day. It belongs to my rutuals. I enjoy it to get a time out.
But: I had times in my life without coffee. And as I remember, I felt better without coffee. I wasn’t as tired as now often.

So when you need a decision: don’t get into coffee. Its not as bad as alcohol ( in higher doses), but without coffee you ll feel better imo.

There is no definitive answer to this question since coffee drinking can have both positive and negative effects on health, depending on the individual. However, in general, coffee is considered to be relatively safe to consume in moderation. Some of the potential benefits associated with coffee drinking include improved mental alertness and concentration, decreased risk of certain types of cancer, and reduced inflammation. On the other hand, too much coffee can lead to adverse effects such as anxiety, insomnia, and an increased heart rate. Therefore, it is important to moderation when consuming coffee. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to decide whether or not coffee drinking is healthy for them in the long-term.
