Hi I am Brian from Richards Bay, South Africa.
I work full-time as a chemical plant operator and I’m building a local service business on the side called 1Click Pro.
Goal:
Earn money outside of work, build skills that aren’t tied to my job, and buy myself more freedom and choices.
1. The Problem I’m Trying To Solve
Local businesses in my area — auto workshops, truck repair shops, diesel mechanics, and towing companies mostly:
Don’t have a website
Have weak or messy Google Business Profiles
Rely only on word of mouth and Facebook posts
Get calls/WhatsApp enquiries randomly, not consistently
Most of their customers already use WhatsApp + Google Maps.
When someone breaks down or needs a mechanic, they Google:
“mechanic near me”
…click a listing, and then call or WhatsApp.
And most of these businesses already use WhatsApp as their main point of contact.
There’s a clear gap between what customers want and what these businesses present online.
My solution:
Create simple WhatsApp-based websites — clean 1-page Google Sites pages linked directly to WhatsApp.
Fast to build, low-cost, zero maintenance, and directly built around how customers already behave.

I help workshops & truck repair shops get more WhatsApp enquiries using a simple 1-page site and a cleaned-up Google listing.
3. What I’ve Done So Far
Being honest:
Built a working demo site for an auto shop / truck repair workshop
Created basic branding for 1Click Pro
Wrote and tested WhatsApp outreach messages
Started cold outreach to local workshops using WhatsApp Business
Met one business owner I knew (not the right timing)
Built a demo for another owner I know — he didn’t reply, I followed up, still no response
No clients yet
No meetings booked yet
Right now I’m stuck between building the product and doing outreach, with too much time spent preparing and not enough time closing.
4. My Plan To Land Client #1
I’m keeping it simple now: take action, message businesses, book conversations, and get into real feedback loops.
Outreach Plan (WhatsApp → Meeting)
Since I work full-time, walk-ins are difficult.
So I’m starting with WhatsApp outreach first, and if they show interest, I try to book a call or meet after work.
My current opener:
> “Howsit, I’m Brian in Richards Bay.
I help workshops get more WhatsApp enquiries by fixing their Google listing and adding a simple 1-page WhatsApp website.
Can I show you a quick example for your business?”
If they say yes → I send the demo and ask some SPIN questions about their leads and pain points.
If it makes sense → I offer a quick call or meeting after hours.
Closing Strategy
For the first client:
Option 1: Charge full R3,000
Option 2: Intro price R1,500–R2,000 in exchange for:

2–3 referrals
I’m open to feedback on whether working for free makes sense for client #1 — or if there are better ways to pull them in.
