just finished Unscripted!

I like how the end started to go a bit more into Uncripted money handling approach as well. For me the hardest thing about money isn’t necessarily making it, but keeping it. Part of what scares me about going into business is how to be financially responsible with the business to make it last.

Since finishing unscripted two days ago I started investigating the development of a new product idea I’ve had. Enough is enough, no more hesitation, it’s time to hunker down!

Read Unscripted and TMF. I recommend the former for more pragmatic actionable steps towards achieving the Fastlane life and the latter for a reality shattering rethink of what you know and have been conditioned to believe! Both books compliment each other very well.

I have listened to the audio book. I liked the speaker very much and also the overall story but a bit to long. I think it repeated itself a bit too much. Anyways, it is worth listening to.

Wow. Quite a journey, and quite a punch to the gut. Timely, as it's time to crank up entrepreneur mode. Helpful, as there are quite a few thought traps and misconceptions it pointed out. One of the biggies (for me) is that you DON'T have to 'eat your own dog food'.

As a producer, and a late adopter, I've always had an incredibly difficult time understanding 'the market' (consumers). Hearing that I DON'T need to 'scratch my own itch' allows me to really focus on solving others needs & desires, without them needing to overlap with my own (which are mighty few).

Helping others? On it.

The timing couldn't have been better on this book, just wish I'd known about it when it first came out!

Listened to the Millionaire Fastlane and UNSCRIPTED in one week. Now that I am back from vacation, I am listening to UNSCRIPTED for the second time (during my 1h and 30m commute to my scripted job...)

Finished the book.
I think it is more important than TMF, but - of course - both will be my advisors for the road ahead.
And I think MJ DeMarco sold 10 more of them because of my recommendations :)

Honestly, I am really happy that I have found those books - I read there everything I sense what is wrong, and what my brain tries to tell all that rubbish biases in that little powerful corner in my head.

Favourite chapter: #29

Listened to the book. Definitely gave me some good perspective, and making some shifts in my business based on the info I gained here. I Would much rather be intentional in my business than just be playing it by ear, and seeing where it goes.

Thanks so much for the gift to humanity!

When I read the first chapter about the "Average Guy", i had the wish MJ would write a completely novel about this guy. Like how he starts to live as a child. Being full of enthusiasm, euphorism and Hope and what he slowly became later. Without even noticing it.

Maybe this book could call:
"Average Guy - The Dark Sides Of Being Normal". Something like that.

Of course this book has a lot of great advices how to start as an entrepreneur and what it means to be one.

I don't know. But the first part hooked me the most. It always reminds me how my Life shouldn't be and of course shouldn't end. That's motivation enough!

Stay tuned!

I've read Unscripted. It took me a year to read it. Why? I started when I was in a crappy situation and reading it made me angry. Not angry at the words, but angry at myself. I held on to it and finished it when I was at the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey. LOVE it. Thank you!

It should be a must-read for anyone looking to ditch their 9-to-5 life.

I've read Uncripted! Great book and really opened my eyes to a lot of things particulary investing and the CENTS business. Before when I thought about entrepreneurship I thought of all the things I wanted but now I realise it is all about providing value and solving problems. This was what I needed to hear as for me this is a much more fulfilling way to live life.

Finished the book today. Of course it's been a while and a few iterations for me before I read it. So, I am not sure if I was your target market.

My take...it is a tough, long book. It absolutely needed to be written and published. The ideas in the book needed to be out in the open. There is no other book out there that I am aware of that is as brutally honest as this book is. You were thorough in your delivery and the book will definitely change people's lives. I am sure this took you a long time and a lot of drive to write MJ, the writing and editing is much better than TMFL.

I have a sidewalker friend reading it now. I am interested in hearing a different perspective on it.

You can still have money. You just need to learn to provide value before you can MAKE money. It's a journey...but basically, you can have your cake and eat it to!

I made a discovery: Listen to chapters 2-5 on your morning commute to change it from an obligation to an FTM.

When I get stuck in my commute (happens every 200 or so feet) I like to people watch, see the other office workers making thier drudge in for their eight of hate; at least 80% have a terrible fear and exhaustion imprinted on them, eyes emptied, brows furrowed, and nervously fidgeting and dreading what awaits them that day. All of this coupled with MJs little story followed by a description of how the script wants you to live makes this a powerfully motivating experience. Choose yourself before someone else's chooses for you. Unscript and shift to the fastlane before it's too late.
