Recently read the chapter from TMF where MJ says 'if everyones doing it, you shouldn't'- something like that and i agree with that, but i did have some questions.
Nowadays everyones doing copywriting. So many freelancers doing it. Everyone can learn it . Isn't the market saturated? Is it better to learn another skill that is not as popular as copy but still very important?
I am learning copy rn and over the past 20 days read cashvertising, created a portfolio and writing more, and applied to around 40 jobs (freelancing and cold-emailing)- nontheless i have failed at getting any of those jobs, but i am still learning and trying to send in better proposals.
Is it worth learning it, and spending $10 to get freelancing bids or should i stop?
I don't want to end up on a path that leads nowhere.
EDIT: It's difficult to get writing jobs online because everyones doing it. Learning it seems to be easy, but getting work is hard.
