How to find NEED in market

being inspired by you guys and action faking from a year or so.
I always keep learning but not implementing it.

Inspired by members of this form, I am looking forward to implementing my knowledge and learn from it.

I want to start an eCommerce business also a brand just to start taking action, but I also want to make money from it as @Andy Black tells.

I believe Ideas are worthless without execution.
so my idea is to sell pickles online and building a brand around it.

The main thing is,
Is it needed in the market

Blimey. Pickles. I didn’t expect that.

My first port of call would be to check the Google Keyword Planner. Are there people searching to buy pickles online. If there’s buyer search terms with volume then see if anyone is advertising on those search terms and what their website/landing page looks like.

Also check on Amazon. Maybe type in the same search terms and see what comes up.

Why pickles?

There are multiple reasons
1. Its a niche which big players wont come and would be some profitable.
2. Long shelf life.
3. cheap af
4. Lots of flavours in india
5. Easier to find supply
6. I am treating it as a learning opportunity .

You can do more research.

-Regulation require for selling food In your country
-Cost of making
-How much do successful pickle seller make
-What skill do you need to learn to prepare it
-Anything missing in the market that you can improve on

Do you want to make your own pickles and sell them, or sell other people's pickles?

If you want to make your own, have you considered it takes about a week to pickle something?

If you are going to be a reseller, how are you going to do this? Jars of pickles are heavy thus I would imagine they would be expensive to ship on a per-customer basis.

Or do you want to build a website to sell pickles and try to get affiliate agreements with the actual producers of the pickles, and when people make orders from your website they are actually buying from the producer, not yourself?

I laughed way harder than I should've, but hey, there's a market. My mom blows through them like crazy in the summer. I guess my question is, are you trying to be a middle man or are you making your own pickle blend? If the latter, you can pitch to local grocery stores and build from there.

Yes, I will confirm that with lawyer.
I won't be making it. Its an strict affiliate atleast while starting

This might or might not help the OP, but I know that there are large numbers of people who want to buy an exact match to McDonalds' pickles.

The best they can manage is to ask at the counter for a cup of pickles. Some stores will sell it to them but you have to be lucky.

I think it goes like this:

1) You Pay Attention to a specific niche, for example, Kombucha drink
2) You see what is happening with current customers
3) Pay Special Attention to those who are complaining
HINT: Messiah Demarco did talk about it - Look for Complaining, Deficiency in the TMFL Book
4) You come up with your creative way to Find the Need & fill the Need. It could be an ingredient or something - that's why it depends on niche/field
5) Then you test it & validate it and wait for the Echo from Marketplace (Again Credit to Messiah Demarco)
6) See if you can get traction.

Trust me its easy to say these above words but it requires lots of work including experiment/test/mistakes etc.

I did some research profit margins are too less and demand is also not great, so wont be continuing with pickel niche but will look for other niches

will use this process for the next product.
for the current one, it's a generational recipe and there are lots of variants so people don't complaint

I don't think people are actively looking for it.

What you need to do:
Need -> idea?

Get ecommerce and dropshipping out of your head.
Fill your head with problems and solutions.
Then figure out how to sell it.

He now owns all big businesses in South Germany.
Ther s quite a lot of money!
