I'm thinking that, if someone is already in a situation you want to be, then that person is a good mentor. You could save time, and not repeat the mistakes they've already committed. Some people can do it themselves, but some need that accountability/guidance. I myself am a person who used to consume all the content and not take any action. But now I've started getting better at execution.
