hello, fasteners I just want to talk about the incident that happened to me yesterday.
it went something like this.
our school has arranged a career guidance programme for the commerce batch.
a former student of our school was the speaker( a grown man with a badly maintained beard).
first, he asked about what is your ambition? so, each student should stand up and tell their ambition.
most of said"ca, cs, an accountant".then it was my turn.

I don't know why but my heart was pounding against my chest.i stand up and said"entrepreneur".
speaker:" what?"
me: I mean businessman.
speaker: "why did you choose that".
I wanted to say "that's when you can add values to the life of people and get money in direct proportion to the value you have added ".
" and you don't have to trade life for money".
but I said, "I don't know I chose it ".
speaker: don't worry you still got the time to choose your career and will help you to figure out.
I shook my head in agreement.
after finishing the ambition segment. for the next 1hr, he talked about the exams that you should take and the salary that you can make as a CA and CS.every was interested when they hear about the salary
(except me and my friend). but there was a little problem the exam for ca, cs and cma were very hard and the pass out rate is very small. but don't worry he has the solution for it.
THE SCAM PART BEGINS
you can join the winner tuition center and we will teach you and make you pass the CPT EXAM
not only that if you guys join now you will only have to pay 75% of the fees and he gives us a form and said"you can put your name, fathers name, the course you wanna choose and phone number and we will contact you shortly ".everybody was happy (why not ) you can pass the exam with the coaching of this guys at 25% less money and you will get a good job .

everyone was happy they were like they have won the ticket to the chocolate factory.
I write this to thank MJ if I haven't read unscripted I will be like one of them.
by the way, coaching start next month and most of them are going to join but not me.
and am happy with the decision that I've made.

Frustrating to hear people who are in positions of authority have no clue but how to tell other people how to conform.

Conventional wisdom will get you conventional results.

Ugh. Those poor kids didn’t stand a chance.

What’s CA, CS and CPT? I presume CMA is a Chartered Management Accountant?

This reminds me of when my college held career fairs.
The representatives didn't offer a job but instead made suggestions and recommendations of "how we can get to their position" LOL. I also remember a few of my college buddies were telling me about how this GREAT company from the fair are going to fly them out and train them. They were going to make X amount of income...blah blah blah. Couple weeks later they were so upset that it was only part of a MLM and a waste of time flying there. (I knew it was too good to be true)

The SCRIPT is deep rooted in school education. I don’t remember that I have ever heard from school going childeren that they want to be entreprenuer. There is always a wish for having a great job at a great organisation. I don’t understand why everyone wants to be slave of someone else’s dreams?

Thanks again to MJ to introduce the UNSCRIPTED life.

If I recall from class, schools were designed to train people for the factories. Today's factory is the cubicle.
