I'd like to remember October as a spooky month due to Halloween. Therefore, I'll like to start the monthly update intro by leaving one of my favorite quotes, a quote from my favorite antagonist in my favorite horror movie franchise.

Part II: Fastlane Progress​

October was more like a mindset development month for me, with not much action, to be honest. I would consider October as a month where I got the chance to modify & polish my counterpunches in distinct ways.
In addition, I've now finished Atomic Habits, and I've already created a set of my own Atomic Habits to accomplish on a daily basis.
I'm now currently in the phase of learning the systems and processes of the value I wish to create for the marketplace and will start developing a new skill in the meantime.

Part III: Highlights​

I received a $500 tax refund that I will not include as income for personal reasons.
In terms of being a brother, I've signed up my little sister for high school and bought her a Can't Hurt Me book for her to develop the habit of reading at a young age, which gives me an opportunity to implement the lessons for habit building learned from Atomic Habits.

She knows I might sometimes be strict or emotionally dry towards her, but deep down in my heart, I only want the best for her, whether it's here in NYC or back in my parent's hometown. However, I still see some struggle in her environmental adaptation to NYC, it's probably because she misses my parent's ranchette back in their hometown & maybe because the majority of her young life was spent in my parent's hometown. Which are reasons that I totally understand; I guess I just have to give her some more time.

My best memory from October was a heartwarming moment that I will forever remember and thank life for, it happened when I accompanied my little sister on her way to school, and she told me that I act like a father figure instead of an older brother, which made me feel inspired and filled me with a greater sense of meaning & purpose in life.

If reading a few books is the extent of your progress, then you lack focus.

Your entire income seems to be from your job which at $4187 for 148 hours is approx $28 per hour.

Your passive bit, whatever that is supposed to mean, is only $111 a month for last 10 months. Your job would pay you that in approx 4 hours, just 1 hour a week overtime.

I see there is already a response above but I agree, what is it you are actually doing to change from employee to your own thing?

True, 95%+ comes from my foundational job near Times Square, and the passive income comes solely from my specialized labor, which is basically an online side hustle where I write articles. Works similar to YT but in writing format. I've been doing this for over a year now. I'm aware I owe you guys an update on this online side hustle in better detail because the last one was six months ago. Coming up next time.

As mentioned above in Part II: Fastlane Progress of the monthly update, I'm in the initial process of learning & transitioning from my foundational job/specialized labor to a specialized skill and, eventually, what follows next after that. Thanks for your feedback.
