Part I: Fastlane Progress​

Specialized Labor:
Another 3 articles were added. So far, I've treated this as a side hustle, because I haven't taken it too seriously. Nonetheless, I'm not ready to completely give up on this altogether.

Specialized Skill:
After another 100+ cold calls, from last month, 10% of all calls I make, are picked up by the main business owner, and the other 90% of the time are just the gatekeepers who answer the phone calls.

In one instance, I had a very interesting conversation with one business owner; he was interested in the service I offered and even praised me for my effort. However, he was doubtful because he wanted references or testimonials proving that I could bring results into his business, even though I offered to work for free for 30 days.

Since I don't have any testimonials or references yet, he wished me good luck and even told me he could see if he could refer me to any of his buddies. I highly doubt he did, but he left me inspired in some way. Also, I noticed I've been talking less nervously on the phone than I did compare to one or two months ago. In short, no sales yet.

Part IV: April's Highlights​

I filed my taxes in April, and somewhat surprisingly, I received almost $6,000 in tax returns. I plan to use this money so that I can petition & sponsor my parents once I turn 21, which is less than 6 months from now.

If you were wondering all along, my parents live outside of the United States and are non-U.S. citizens, and as a U.S. citizen myself, I feel that it's my responsibility to sponsor them. I guess that it wouldn't be too hard because I already have the income, thanks to the job I have right now, to prove to the state department I can actually sponsor and petition my parents to travel to the USA once again.

On another note, after 3 years of not going to the gym, I have finally decided to get a yearly gym subscription. I think I've already bulked a bit in the winter and have the resources I wish I had when I started "bodybuilding" in 2020 at the age of 17, and failed to believe in building a great physique back then.
