We are actually coming in on Thursday.... it was REALLY a challenge to find a flight on Friday that would get us there before midnight.....

one of the "perks" for living in the middle of nowhere.

We decided against renting a car, as it seems our hotel is central to lots-o-things, so we will be doing the shuttle thing.

-What kind of clothes are we packing? (temperature and dress code wise)
-Bringing one notebook to write in, anything else needed?

Are we doing business casual?

Polo Shirts, Slacks, Banana Hammock Underwear optional?

Oh and don't forget, Mojito and Cigar close in hand.

How are places in PHX in general about dress codes. Am I going to need to bring my dress shoes (they aren't very comfortable I'd rather rock something else)

Unfortunately, my attendance on Sunday is in question. I have a prior engagement in Vegas and my flight is on Sunday early afternoon -- I might be able to swing the morning time frame.

Today's weather in Phoenix was the best of the year: 82 degrees and sunny. I hope next week is the same for everyone visiting! Days like today are heavenly!

I hope everyone wears what they are comfortable wearing. Phoenix is very casual ... suits are unheard of w/exception to lawyers and politicians.

I live about half a mile from the hotel and take cabs frequently to and from the airport. It is usually $17 (plus tip) each way.

Sharon and I are arriving Thursday afternoon to check out the conference room, make sure it's set correctly, and then we're going to either buy a few picnic coolers and some soft drinks, or use the frig's I've requested from the hotel (they weren't sure they could get them-- I find this out on Thursday).

If you have a cooler or two, that would save us a few bucks (we were just gonna buy the cheap styrofoam ones).

If you could drop it off at the hotel on Thursday or bring in Friday morning, I can definitely use it. I'll buy the ice if you get it to me Thursday-- if you bring it Friday, I'd prefer if you brought it w/a bag of cubes to keep things cool.

Reg fees cover things like soft drinks, bottled water, snacks, and lunch on Sat and Sunday.
